  1. Oh, the wine will be flowing like water Happy Thanksgiving!
  2. He messed up and sprung his calendar forward instead of fall back on the clock. He thinks it's December 22nd
  3. I've seen enough of that way too many times... especially the decade known as the 80s. I'm not at all disappointed with the possible setup in December myself
  4. Sure is! And we have outdoor work today...gonna be brisk!
  5. Rain and 33 in Simsbury. Looks like about an inch and a half before it changed over last night. About the same at home in Westfield
  6. First state plow of the season just went by the house. Things getting coated up pretty well
  7. Big, big shoes to fill, but so far so.... good
  8. PLEASE... save a weenie and stop posting "threats" too early!
  9. I always liked Allstate when I lived in CT. Now my newest vehicle is a 1983 so I have Hagerty. If you have a classic, there's NO way to beat their price or customer service.
  10. Apparently you aren't too familiar with this area. In GENERAL it is a fairly snow area especially compared to the rest of the valley
  11. Many times Simsbury is a better snow spot than you'd expect given the elevation. There's something about the ridge just southeast of town that seems to be the difference between downtown Hartford weather and more of the northwest hills. Also like you said...great CAD spot!
  12. Hey Neighbor! My shop is in Simsbury, live in Westfield. Simsbury us an interesting area. I've seen many times over the years where we can have fairly significant snow vs just over the ridge in Bloomfield.
  13. Maybe try for the 26th time frame...
  14. It's going to be bad! My aunt and uncle just returned to Longboat Key from Tennessee day before yesterday (Why..no clue) and now complaining they can't get fuel. Some people just don't take things seriously
  15. It feels like that here! I just finished a service call and it looks like I stood in a shower with my clothes on... come on A/C
  16. It's been perfect the last few days! Screw the H.H.H. we don't need 90s this time of year. Thinking back, I believe it was the summer of 1996 that was cool and fairly wet the majority of summer...I didn't complain!
  17. Beer, come on...this is Margarita season! On a weather note, great thing about having chinchillas as pets.. I have an excuse to install early. They hate the heat more than I do.
  18. Growing up in a house where it was always WAY too warm (for me) with a combination of electric heat and wood burning furnace was an absolute killer for me as far as getting sick regularly. Once I was out on my own and learned to manage the humidity and temp my winter health greatly improved. I still never keep the house above 67, usually it's more like 65
  19. So that's why so many people were driving in slow mo yesterday evening! It took FOREVER to get from Manchester CT to Westfield MA
