I've quoted and called out some posts recently that are obviously composed by using AI. I don't have an issue with people using it, but don't pretend like it's your own analysis.
I love when people question why someone might be disappointed in a flip. It's really thoughtful and no doubt makes the person on the other end automatically feel better about the prospect of flipping to sleet.
I was about to ask if that was the one that melted as soon as the sun came up.
We were in Fairlington at the time and I remember it well. Cool storm at night, but I remember looking at radar around NYC and accepting that we suck. That may have been the first time I ventured onto weather boards.
I don't know...I'm not sure it's been a huge deal recently, but then again we haven't had many decent storms recently to prove it one way or the other.
That said...f we weren't getting Arctic cold 24 hours in advance via a massive high pressure and a block then this wouldn't even be a discussion. It would just be a cutter, which isn't abnormal.
No need to apologize and it's not just your post in particular.
I just feel like there's always tis reversion to "you should accept it because that's just the way it is" when that's not really the case.
I ride the line for a few hours even in my neck of the woods just west of the DC Beltway. Soundings and temp maps make it look OK, but I won't confident of that unless other guidance agrees.
I'll be deep in it for three nights when we head to Wisp next week, so I'm going to *try* to go easy this weekend. Unfortunately, more sleet = more drinks, so it's not looking good for my liver right now.
