I’ve never been as disinterested in an upcoming winter as I am at this point.
I took a break from weather altogether last year due to just being worn out by the pandemic, but I think this year takes the cake in regards to just not caring about a pending winter.

I actually like doing trainings, but I'm married to a woman who knows her sh*t in and out but still freaks out when she has to present/train, so I can imagine what you're feeling already. You'll be fine!

We're hosting our division's IM Carnival this evening, but my older daughter isn't swimming tonight. Of course, the wife is running concessions and we're looking at some storms that could delay the meet.

Yeah...free took an eternity, and the six heats of kickboards before that didn't help. And then we had some swimmers swim three individual heats because we were apparently trying to get them some team yards records, but we didn't coordinate with the hosts on that. Yeah...that didn't go over well.
"Adult gatorade" is a brilliant idea. Filing that one away for next season...
Ouch. It was much worse at ours than expected. The pool is in a lower-lying area, so there was absolutely zero air movement.
We left at 8:45. They were just starting IM, which last on the sheet. Thank God the little one fell asleep in the car on the way there - she would have been a disaster otherwise.

Wonder if it and the energy from that small cluster near Culpeper can make their way into MBY and drop a little something. There's hope in every weenie...
