Given that we so rarely have extreme weather conditions around here, we should just rename the Drought thread the "Dryness" thread and change the Severe thread to a "General Thunderstorms" thread. It would stop me from trolling the Drought thread, at least.

Went to a Dave Matthews concert there about 9-10 years ago. When we pulled up, a “projectile” hit the cab window right by my right ear. Saw the residue and everything.

I actually like doing trainings, but I'm married to a woman who knows her sh*t in and out but still freaks out when she has to present/train, so I can imagine what you're feeling already. You'll be fine!

We're hosting our division's IM Carnival this evening, but my older daughter isn't swimming tonight. Of course, the wife is running concessions and we're looking at some storms that could delay the meet.

Yeah...free took an eternity, and the six heats of kickboards before that didn't help. And then we had some swimmers swim three individual heats because we were apparently trying to get them some team yards records, but we didn't coordinate with the hosts on that. Yeah...that didn't go over well.
"Adult gatorade" is a brilliant idea. Filing that one away for next season...
