  1. Also worth keeping an eye on Tuesday for climo favored areas. A little less confluence and that’s advisory snow for my area
  2. We have a lot more runway than SNE. A well timed scooter high and we SWFE. GEFS pumps a serious ridge but there’s still cold lurking in our source region. Its not an all out Canadian torch
  3. Torch cancel here next week. Beyond that the modeled pattern at h5 is no bueno but all caveats apply to sensible weather forecasts at that range.
  4. not particularly inspired by NAM temp profiles for CP
  5. next week screams CAD. I'll be rotting at 40 with drizzle while its sunny and 60 on the tarmac at Bradley
  6. meh system, hope some SNE weenies get their first taste
  7. Outages starting to rack up across central and western Maine, 25k so far
  8. Still some good echos back to the SW on radar. not a bad early season event
  9. I’m in MA but my folks in N. bridgton report SN but struggling to accumulate
  10. easterly fetch off the gulf, have to think this will over perform modeled QPF in some areas.
  11. Yes and I will be slumming it with the rest of you SNEers while my cat enjoys it. And I can look forward to dealing with an ice wall in my driveway when I return on Saturday FML
  12. This is just a classic setup for my area to rip. I’m trying to remind myself this is just the first of what I hope are many this season, not worth divorce but I’m already deep FOMO
  13. Ya I floated that idea to the old lady about an hour ago, hard no. Guess I’ll stay coupled for at least one more storm
  14. I have a feeling I’m going to be right in the middle of the deform axis. Should be fun for a while. I’ll be in mass for the holiday so will miss out on the fun at home
  15. Strange that GYX hasn’t issued the watch here yet. South west and east of me are under it
  16. This is gonna be a rough one for the guys plowing. RIP lawns
  17. Ya the thermals aren’t really materially diff across the models
