  1. Some differing opinions on guidance for 2/14...euro suite is more suppressed while GFS is more amped.
  2. Breaching 3” now looks like eyeballing it. Prob won’t reach 4” but may get close. Coming down pretty good in this band but looks like it gets much lighter in an hour
  3. Pretty good echoes now in that. Prob some 1" per hour stuff or close to it.
  4. Nice band from ORH county to Middlesex county now
  5. Lol, that's for 1 inch of snow over 24 hours. Pretty decent chance we at least get scraped by some residual lift, but the question is whether we get something major.
  6. EPS luke warm on 2/14....it's there but needs a little help...still some time to yank that NW
  7. Wouldn't be surprised to see the bands strengthen a little more over the next hour or two in eastern areas....there's some -EPV overlaid on the the ML fronto there right now
  8. Definitely has gotten more organized over central/eastern MA/N RI.
  9. Getting smoked now. Somewhere around 25dbz seems to be that magic number for getting big snow growth
  10. Ripping pretty good right now....might be able to salvage solid advisory if we can keep this up for another 3-4 hours.
  11. Radar actually looks pretty good for SE MA at the moment.
  12. Baking powder under these echoes. Gonna need some better bands to reach 3" here.
  13. We're def getting better and better snow growth by the second just north of the slot....was pure baking powder/dandruff even 20 minutes ago, but now it's probably more than half hooked-dendrites. Seems like 25 dbz is prob the magic number down here.
  14. You can actually see it better on OKX radar....new bands trying to start up in CT
  15. There's stuff trying to redevelop to your SW. You prob aren't completely done.
  16. Getting some better flakes in this now. Still a lot of baking powder but mixed with some hooked dendrites. Vis is really low now. This is borderline moderate/heavy.
  17. NAM developed some modest H7 fronto....if we're going to see some enhanced bands, we'd want that to start showing up in the next couple hours.
  18. Snowing pretty decent in this band, but the snow growth isn't good. Its like snowing moderate dandruff.
  19. You might be screwed....it'll be close. There will be redevelopment, but it might be almost top of you or it mainly is N.
  20. Doesn't look like a very wide area will be seeing the steadier/heavier stuff unless this fills in more...which it might.
  21. 2-5"....not seeing much warning snowfall potential. Maybe a narrow stripe can get 6 or 7 if everything breaks right in the next 8 hours. If that stuff south of LI could link up with the northern bands, then it would get exciting, but it seems they don't do that until offshore. But we watch...
  22. It is hot and cold. I've seen it do great and then other times it's a dumpster fire. Someone is gonna be wrong though between HRRR and NAM.
