  1. I'm headed up to Southern Vermont from Virginia (stratton mountain) with the family next week for a spring skiing trip. I'm hoping the southern greens are in a good spot. I know we're still a ways out with this.
  2. I'm here at Snowshoe now. The ground has whitened.
  3. Looks like a late season Snowshoe WV special brewing...
  4. Do you have this capturing the upslope in Alleghany front? Thanks!
  5. Do you have this through 06z Sunday? I'm enrolled to Davis Wv. Thanks!
  6. I see you travel to snowshoe quite often. Im going to timberline this evening to ski tomorrow and Sunday. Do you think they should do pretty well? 6-8" or so?
  7. Do you have this for west virginia Alleghany front? Including upslope? Trying to decide if it's worth it to make 1 more ski trip to timberline
  8. I was just asking if there was more fluff after 01z to add to the map you posted.
  9. Is there still any upslope in the Alleghany front after this?
  10. This thing is weakening every run. Just toggle the qpf maps...
  11. It is weaker so it is further southeast. I was really hoping for some late season skiing and had planned on heading to Canaan this weekend. I hope this trend stops.
  12. Nice! Do you think blue knob is cashing in? I'm thinking about going there to ski one last time this weekend..
  13. Is there any upslope still cranking in the Alleghany's at this hour?
  14. Its raining on the summit of Timberline at 4000 feet. Thats all you need to know....
  15. This event reminds me of the late March (3/21/19) snow linked in article below. Blue ridge up through skyline drive received 6-10" while most everyone saw cold white rain/rain. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://mobile.twitter.com/capitalweather/status/1108789512023539713&ved=2ahUKEwi60dC1rLT2AhXbqXIEHavwA70QFnoECCgQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1-G5HaHxoEBGM9UttlRf3L
  16. I think you will see these number increase for the ridges but not increase in terms of coverage area. This looks like elevation snow. Elliot knob should do well here.
  17. Wednesday looks like a blue ridge special. I'd think areas above 2500 feet will be in line for heavy wet accumulating snow. Outside of elevation I just can't see more slushy grassy areas at best.
  18. I thought the same thing. Should be something to track for climo favored areas soon.
  19. Agreed. This also may be the window that saves March skiing along the Alleghany front. (Provided the bases can survive the extended warm/rain over the next 10 days or so...
  20. Only I can pick a weekend to ski canaan valley where it snows considerably more at snow starved resorts like Wintergreen.
  21. I could agree more. Im taking the family to Canaan Valley this weekend for the first time. Hopefully we get some upslope fluff if nothing else.
