  1. 0.75" today still pixie dust as this moves off.
  2. Measured 0.5" on top of the crust at 1:30pm and still snowing. Been back-building off and on nicely in NE chesco since 11am. It's almost as if snow can accumulate during the day after February 15th..
  3. Been fringed all morning but getting a steady snow now, expecting it to last for 5 mins. Dust on crust
  4. Measured 5.25 inches before the change to sleet and then another 0.5 inches of sleet/ice after clearing the board when it switched. 6 miles SSE in Paoli and almost 10 inches. Impressive gradient with that band this morning. Reminds me of a lake effect streamer. Still frizzling.
  5. Was dumping 10 minutes ago but is now jusy pixie dust and barely any flakes despite decent radar returns. Must be the sun angle lmao. Phoenixville. Measured 4.5" at 9am
  6. Wunderground bullish for my area. Upped from 6 more inches total (with 0.5in/hr rates) to 9 more inches (with 1-2in/hr rates) in the past half hour. If we can keep from switching to sleet this is possible as it seems there's an abundant amount of moisture flowing out of the WSW. 3-4 already I think I'll measure soon.
  7. North edge of Charlestown, south of Phoenixville, PA. 8.5" Dec 15th 13" January 31st-Feb 3rd 7" Feb 7th 2" Feb 11th 5.75" Feb 18th (5.25 snow/0.5 sleet and ice) 0.75" Feb 19th 37" total Updated 2/19
  8. Phoenixville giant shopping center must be under the same contractor. That single pile has been massive since December. Speaking of geese, there was a flock of white snow geese that flew overhead during the Feb 7th event. Really cool, I was shoveling and heard them before I could see them. They seemingly appeared out of thin air as rates were at an inch an hour at that time so viz was low. Seems like 1.5-2" here in royersford, maybe a few tenths more a bit south back home in Charlestown/Pville.
  9. Couldn't get past 7" after 1130 despite consistent snow I think temps were too marginal to outperform the compaction. Wish I could measure at 550' at the top of my hill as opposed to 200'.
  10. Rates seem to be matching up with compaction. Measured 7" at 11:30am and pretty much 7" at 12:30pm despite steady snowfall. Shoveled the driveway at 11 and it has been melting on the blacktop since. Also Spoon hating life right now:
  11. 7" in Phoenixville as of 11:30am. Have not cleared the snow board.
  12. 5.25" already in Phoenixville as of 10am
  13. Coming down nicely in Phoenixville! About to go measure. Excited to snowboard later at bear creek, hoping everyone in my group can make it up alright.
  14. What year did this happen in the mid 2000s? I remember there being a 6ish inch event followed by so much ice that you could walk on top of the snowpack without breaking through. Made for some gnarly sledding carnage.
  15. *Off topic* I briefly mentioned in the Jan 31st-Feb 2nd thread that I have been dealing with unexplained low back, hip and leg pain the past two months. I worked with a really good PT yesterday and together we were able to determine that my pain likely stems from Lyme Disease or Bartonella. It makes total sense as I have been dealing with odd pain throughout my body for the past three years and I was out for three months in 2019 with terrible and unexplainable foot pain. I've also experienced general fatigue, sound sensitivity, blurred vision, swollen glands and intense anxiety. While that sucks, it does mean I am cleared to snowboard again! I immediately drove over to Valley Forge and reconquered this line I rode following the March 2017 sleet storm. I've contacted a Lyme literate doctor and am in hopes of a full recovery from these funky neurological symptoms. If you get a bullseye, 21 days of antibiotics probably isn't enough! It is BS that the American medical system does not believe in chronic Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses and they refuse to cover treatment or advanced testing. The traditional western blot test for Lyme disease is extremely outdated and inaccurate and is the reason this was not diagnosed and treated sooner, as I was negative for Lyme in 2019 when tested for my foot pain. Here's the footy: (Might still be processing on youtube) Sorry there's no SEPA Ski season thread like the NE forum has, so I figured I'd post it here. Plus I think people should be more aware of tick borne illnesses, especially living in PA. 9 in 10 people with Lyme disease don't know they have it. Also, I've been eyeing up that giant mound of dirt along the Turnpike and Northeast extension interchange for years now. Might have to cross that off the list next.
  16. Drove into town this morning to get some breakfast at Nudy's with my gf. Town was peaceful with everyone still digging out. Congrats everyone that cashed in big.
  17. Deer decided to walk all over my measuring board so it was hard to get a good reading but it looked like 2.8" since last obs which puts me at 13" storm total in Phoenixville. 11" w/ compaction. Not complaining here, I put the over/under bet with my gf at 15". She took the under, we'll see who's right.
  18. 5.0" since switch to snow. 10.2" storm total as of 9pm. Averaging close to an inch an hour the past few hours. Cleared the board.
  19. 3.6" since switch back to snow. 8.8" storm total as of 7:25pm. 1.4" in the past hour, best rates so far. Just south of Phoenixville.
  20. 2.2" since switch back to snow. 7.4" storm total as of 6:25pm. Snow growth and flake size seem to be increasing. Will clear board in 2 hours.
  21. 6.5" storm total in Phoenixville. 1.3" since switch to snow after 2pm today. 1.8" total sleet between 11pm last night and 2pm this afternoon.
  22. Seconded about to measure and clear all the sleet from the board. Didnt bother to clear it since sleet started since I figured it wouldn't compact much.
  23. 1.1" sleet since I cleared the board at 11pm last night when it switched to sleet. 0.5" in 2 hours for 0.25"/hr rates of sleet right now. 4.5" storm total. March 2017 vibes, again.
