  1. going to be a fun winter building strawman and tearing them down
  2. 0/37 12z gfs ens members take the storm anywhere near NE
  3. as others have stated, unfortunately it is literally the opposite setup.
  4. Most of the Central and W Atlantic are +SST anomalies, it's wild. Erin looks to follow the gulf stream rather nicely too. plenty of OHC to keep going
  5. Yeah. It's interesting how bad the 1880-1900 period was for GA/SC, 1893 and 1898 particularly. Otherwise very rare new gfs rips the potential next system into the gulf, euro recurves similar to Erin.
  6. obligatory la-la land Savannah hit on 18z gfs ...always one per year
  7. every day is one closer to next Spring. take

  9. not a "close call" or scrape on any operational model, nevermind a direct hit. Inside D7
  10. I didn't realize lawns go dormant in early august
  11. I don't remember that one. But .. Yore
  12. that sucks. the new norm for us
  13. very dry times ahead. perhaps sunday a few showers/storms well NW
  14. if one really "wants" a strong TC into NE, you don't want a massive major out there upwelling and flying OTS.
