Thankful  last storm my power only went out for a few mins.  Hopefully we avoid the worst again..

They did get about 4" and .5" ice with this last storm.  This doesn't look good.

HRRR looks a little bit more juiced on the southern area at 60 compared to NAM - cold also digs a bit more south and we snow through the run (12z thursday) compared to NAM where we start as sleet/freezing rain.

And DT back with the “no models/data show anything significant for Richmond area”- ukie, cmc, gfs all show something fairly significant along with the rdps.  NAM is basically on its own island at this point

Man that GFS cutoff is brutal.

UKMET with the continued trend more south - at least in terms of expansion

RDPS (end of run so hard take with a grain of salt) shows what the GFS does - at least .5" of freezing rain

Will take only 3 hours without power from this (fingers crossed things do t turn overnight).  Most of Ashland town and just outside seemed to be without around the same and was restored fairly quickly

Generators for the win!  Going on about 3.5 hours- roughly .55-.6” here on top of 6” snow (compacted down to 3.75” now)

No bueno- that may push close to 3/4”.  Still have power but just heard a generator kick on in the neighborhood and it’s going out left and right in Ashland per FB page.

Looks like 8-9pm stop time per HRRR (has been on fire lately).  Power flickering a bit the last 30, imagine it’ll kick soon.  Went out for a nice bike ride with the kiddo

Up to about .4” now.  Radar looks lighter and most recent local update was about .15” more

Sitting at about .4” 

Still 6-7 hours to go per HRRR and about 5 per NAM.  So essentially we are not quite halfway in
