UKMET with the continued trend more south - at least in terms of expansion RDPS (end of run so hard take with a grain of salt) shows what the GFS does - at least .5" of freezing rain

Will take only 3 hours without power from this (fingers crossed things do t turn overnight). Most of Ashland town and just outside seemed to be without around the same and was restored fairly quickly

Generators for the win! Going on about 3.5 hours- roughly .55-.6” here on top of 6” snow (compacted down to 3.75” now)

Looks like 8-9pm stop time per HRRR (has been on fire lately). Power flickering a bit the last 30, imagine it’ll kick soon. Went out for a nice bike ride with the kiddo

Roads look ok but they also get heavy traffic. Also won’t be able to really see it but wouldn’t risk going out anywhere. It’s only just starting and getting worse

Different type of outage than just a transformer blowing. Poles and lines will be down and that takes a lot more time for repair

Moved my car back in driveway away from roof line. Had it in park letting the windshield melt and started sliding down driveway- not too bad a grade either. We’ve barely started this storm too- stay safe all!
