    Look at the 0 line. It moves up to the right. You want all of the bands to be below that line for snow.

    Exactly how it was in eastern Loudoun. I could not walk up my yard to get to my house. I just kept sliding down the 5 inches of solid ice. I had to crawl up the hill to get into my house. Was absolutely nuts.

    Yeah. Most of the models at 0Z are kind of fringing us with the heavier precip to the south. I am hoping that tradeoff is more snow if that holds.

    Much colder NW from the RGEM this run. I am snow at 0Z when I was sleet at 18Z. Sleet comes in like a wall for everyone. Massive sleet bomb this run. Actually flips me back to snow at the end this run. First model to do that.

    I can remember sliding down my yard with the 93 ice storm. This one would be just as bad. 3 inches of concrete.

    I mean it is pretty close to a complete cave at this point. 60 is a mauling. 63 is some of the heaviest sleet I have ever seen. 850's are way south of us though. It is so close to a snow crushing.

    0z HRRR has some snow in front of the main slug. If that can hit our area we could start as early as Wednesday evening.

    Man the RGEM is a catastrophic ice storm for southern VA. 1.3 inches of zr falling into the low to mid 20's.

    As is the NAM is still a pretty nasty ice storm for the NW burbs. Half inch of ZR is no joke.

    No west. My area to be specific. East of the Blue Ridge does flip. But DC gets .6 QPF as snow from hours 72 to 78. It is a pummeling.

    Its a crushjob for all of us. All snow west of the Blue ridge like the UK.
