    Yeah. That is ugly. .25 ice on top of the way my neighborhood roads look will be something else. And the thing is even if you rain for the majority of it. You are gonna flash freeze whatever you have. Monday morning is gonna be nasty.

    Picked up .3 with the first line. No way you can complain about snow on snow. It just makes the snow pack look so much better. I hope the stuff to the west holds together. Of course the rest of you will know in a couple of hours when I am screaming about it

    I cant figure out how to resize pics on my phone anyways. I have to email them to myself then resize them on a PC then post them. In other words its a pain in the ass. Or I am old and cant figure out how to use a cell phone

    I just took the dog out for a quick walk and the sky just opened up. Great rates and snowflake size right now. This is going to overperform for someone. Everything has caved except the road. But it isnt far behind with these rates. Wanted to get a Jebwalk in in some daytime snow in case we dont get anymore this winter. Moderate snow 31 degrees.

    I would fly on Saturday. but just for comfort. It is going to be windy as crap on Sunday. And I cant stand rough flights.

    I am assuming she is at Massanutten which is close to Harrisonburg? If so, she wont see any snow/ice coming up 81 until she gets around Winchester on Saturday is how it looks on the Euro.

    31/24 Pretty nice slug of moisture to my west. I would think it will be snowing here within an hour or so. It just smells like snow outside. I still have around 4 inches of snowpack so it is going to be nice to add a fresh inch on top.

    Last nights JMA looks very similar to the UKIE. At 72 the surface low is at the TN/GA border.

    Sim radar looks pretty weak in all honesty. I still think if you score an inch with this one you have done well. Nice to have some fresh snow on top of the snow pack though.

    Last winter we would have been begging for an event like this. The 12K and 3K both look good for the majority of the subforum. 1-2 region wide.

    The EURO is a nasty storm for my area. Never gets above freezing at the surface the entire event. It is interesting because I would think the models will trend even colder as we approach the event. I wonder if the front end thump might not get better as well.

    My forecast high temp is going to bust again. I am at 29 degrees right now and cloudy. Forecast high is 40. Not gonna happen.

    Those NAM images include sleet as well. The CAD will continue to get stronger on the models as we get closer to the event it always does. I wouldnt be shocked to pick up a couple of inches of snow/sleet on the front end for those of us to the NW with rain on top. Once the arctic air pushes in that slop is going to freeze into a glacier.
