    I actually love shoveling the driveway at night while it is snowing. No one else in the neighborhood is doing it then. You can shovel for a little bit then just stand there with absolutely no noise except the flakes hitting the ground and you. It is amazing. And it helps me to do multiple shovels before the snow gets too deep.

    As bad as the dryslot is on the GFS it is still a 6-10 event for basically the entire subforum. Cant really complain if it ends up being right.

    It takes 24 hours for the low to travel from the Outer Banks to the South Jersey coast on the Op. That is an epic track for almost all of us west of the Bay with that cold air in place.

    Surface temps are definitely warmer than the Euro was showing a couple of days ago. Upper 20's out this way through the event.

    This thing already broke the site! Crazy run for us westerners. And in all honesty the Euro depiction leaves room for an even bigger hit than shown. Nuts. Watch how the precip shield is tugged west at 132 and 138. It is just a sit and spin megastorm.

    Canadian snow depth map is a pretty smooth 2-4 throughout the area. Kuchera is higher obviously. Used wrong run earlier. Disregard my stupidity.

    UK is a weird run. Looks like it runs the ccb through NOVA and DC. But only about an inch total QPF through 144. Still a really nice hit. Just weird look to me.

    Maybe it ends up we only get the waa from this one and we dryslot on the jump. That would still be a good storm. 4-8 region wide is nothing to be pissed about.

    That144 500 EPS map is straight up gorgeous. Perfect position for us with the cold that is being advertised. It appears I am going to be dropping hundreds of weenies on posts over the next few days. Ridiculous.

    I would actually feel better being east with this one if you want to get into the CCB. Watch the progression on the GFS. If that ends up the worst case scenario DC still gets into the coastal when it gets tugged west. If the GFS jumps just a couple of hours sooner and a little further south it is a complete beatdown.

    Through 120 ICON already has us with 7 hours of snow. Primary is in KY and starting to transfer off the coast. Would love to see the next 12 hours.
