GFS Fantasy Storm WB 12Z for 2 weeks out. Week of 16th as already indicated by many is one to watch.

WB 6Z GEFS 10 day mean snowfall is not a shutout (looking at the period after this Friday.)

So does WB 6Z GEFS. Chilly, but dry. But we can enjoy the expected 2-4 in the short range, and hope something pops in the long range.

Not a downer, just a realist. The southern suburbs are due a good year. I lived inside the Beltway for over 20 years so I have seen both sides of the fence.

Yes. I was looking at that from PSU’s discussion earlier today. I wish I understood better how to figure out how far north the precip shield will go. I mean 20-50 miles, which is hardly anything, will make a huge difference. I did not put out my heat mats so I expect a northern shift at 0Z….
