  1. Not far behind you. I'll be 52 in a week, and my eyesight for close-up is starting to go lol
  2. The dates are right on the map. Just look at where it says valid date. Shows the fourth
  3. It's funny, none of the Mets in our area are biting on a wintry solution. But one of them did mention there's a possibility of a mix, but right now saying that one system looks like it's going to go to the north and one to the south of us. They don't want to talk about any possibilities of snow until it's a definite. Here's to hoping, but we'll have other opportunities. I'm sure. It's still very early
  4. Wow... Thanks for the pictures. We have been there in the Summer but not in the Winter ... Looking forward to it ( maybe we will see some Snow fall while we are there next week ).
  5. We hope. Of course we're driving up the Quebec City late Tuesday night and staying in Old Quebec City ( they have a great set up for Christmas ). Drive back Friday. Watch me miss this..lol ( although I know they have some decent Snow up there already ).
  6. I just don't see it happening for here in southern New England. It's just not cold enough. Trust me, I wish it would. It would be a good birthday present
  7. Ummm.... No we didn't. It was just a few from what I remember
  8. Well... As I had just mentioned in my previous post... Climatology speaking, we are right where we should be for this time of the year. If you want to see more action, perhaps you should consider moving to northern Vermont, Maine, or New Hampshire with some good elevation. Then it wouldn't be such a Snoozer for you. P.S. Where you live.... Totally normal to not see much action yet. I guess we should expect not to see you on here for 3 weeks. Enjoy your break! See you later
  9. Lord... Relax. Models will flip flop and go through their normal ups and downs. Plus..having Snow in December ( especially the 1st half of the month ) in SNE would be a gift, but not the norm.
  10. Not seeing that for Kansas City. Just back to their west southwest in Topeka, who's under a winter storm warning, they're going to see three to five inches inches. Think KC they're only expecting up to 4" in Kansas City at the most. At least that's what it looks like at the moment.
  11. Same here... Added gas ( checked the oil ) and it started on the first pull. Let's hope for these signs as being good omens.
  12. So compared to last year at this time when we thought that December was going to be a snowy one, although we did get the cold, does this pattern from all three ensembles look better than it did last year at this time? Not sure if anybody has the ensembles from around this time last year?
  13. Nah.... Anything this early in Southern New England, especially Connecticut Rhode Island. Southeast Massachusetts is a gift. So no panic button here. I will tell you not to worry about it as you seem really concerned.
  14. Troll! Go back under the bridge where you came from. Lol
  15. Well.... His forecasting is like hitting home runs ... You get 100 strike outs, you will finally get that 1 home run. So, he may win this year.... lololol
  16. Can we see it ( just for shits and giggles )
  17. Where did George go and who took over his body??? It's like the Anti-George now...lol
  18. Really... Tell me you think that. I'd like to get your expertise on why that is?
  19. Man... Love watching this. I can't wait until it's happening here! ( and yes... I will proudly take the Weenie Emoji for this comment ) lol
  20. You did get a coating before it changed over, right?
  21. Haven't heard that from anyone yet. But sometimes we're on to something before the meteorologists want to make anything official. I did see that there's some showers in the forecast for Sunday night and to Monday but nothing about snow.
  22. Not sure if that will happen..... However, I feel a whole different vibe this year already with the weather pattern and how these systems are evolving. I do think we are in a better position for Wintry weather, at least here in SNE ( then again, we can't really get any worse than we were last year ) lol
