I would agree that in the back of our minds we be like holy mother of god. However, it does go a lot further than losing cell service. I remember back in 2011 we had that October snow event. We had severe tree damage and no power for 11 days. To be honest it was not fun, it was very costly for us personally as we lost a lot of trees in the yard and had a lot of damage. Damage. What I want that again knowing what would happen? No. But yes, there's that strange excitement Deep down..lol

Man, you know as well as I do that their intentions are to dig deep to try and push people over the edge. Come on man. Has nothing to do with the matter of opinion. I'm fine with a matter of opinion. If someone feels like the warmer regime is going to take over because of what they're seeing then I wouldn't argue with that. A couple of these people are not doing that. Anyway, let's just agree to disagree. In the end most of us are here to discuss what's going to be happening with the weather in the upcoming months ahead. Let's hope for everything that we would like to see, which is snow lol

Well... I have faith in humanity.... Let's see how long this other personality lasts... Just saying. Lol

Sometimes a few of them will come in with some constructive info. But truly, read their posts, all they like to do is dig into people and push the knife in deeper. It's like they get pleasure out of it. That's what I don't like about their comments. But it's all good

Don't you love that? The only ones that give the weenie symbols are the same ones who post all the negative crap. They never have anything good to bring to the table. It makes me laugh every time I see it

Good read. He still sees a transition to colder weather around Christmas and moving forward. I like the optimism that he feels. It's definitely going to be different from last year as a lot of people have been saying. Patience is key

Although there's many of you that post here and have a realistic but optimistic view, and also have a constructive not destructive conversation with others on here of what's going to happen with the weather, there are select three or four that come on here and like to dig the knife in deeper and deeper. Now I get that there's frustration with the way things have gone so far ( and I'm talking southern New England on South as I think most of northern New England has been doing fairly well for this time. But at the same token, it's December 11th. Yes, as of the last few days, the long range models have shifted back to a not so good look. But they can easily shift back as they will probably do.

It does suck... Not gonna lie. We are all.o. Here for the same reason. We would love to see a classic, long lived, snow filled Winter. Unfortunately climo and just the changes in our worldwide weather decreases this chance. With that said, I see nothing wrong with being optimistic. The problem I have here is there are some that are truly pessimists and That's just how the cookie crumbles ( but if you notice, they're still posting. So if they really didn't care or really didn't want to see something change, they wouldn't post it all, even their negative posts ). So, I'm always going to stay optimistic. As we all know, things cannon will change two weeks out from now. There's always been things that can sneak up on us and surprise us in a good way. Those are the things that can turn everyone's emotions around and having us all come together and excited about the possibilities of something major. Time will tell!

So far 2.69" here... Temps have dropped to 43.5 now ( from a high of around 59 last night around 8 ).
-
I'm not gonna lie... But I'm now seeing more people talking about a not so Wintry pattern for us in the east ( I mean SNE down through the Mid-Atlantic ) Maybe it will change again, but one thing I have learned a while ago is to never let long range models suck you in. Things can and will change on a dime. I'll be happy with one big Blizzard ( but happier with a nice good stretch of Winter ).

Imagine if it was snow! That's ok .... Heavy rains acoming
-
Yeah.. may or may not happen. Still looking forward to the holidays with ot without Snow. Life is good! ( plus.. I had a nice heaping spoonful of winter up in Quebec city this past week ). It will Snow at some point. You keep posting your Rainstorms and enjoy them while they last.
-
So at this point, having any kind of snow hitting more of the southern New England area seems less likely, at least what the maps are spitting out ( Although I know things could change in a dime ). I think I'm moving into January, February time frame for any kind actual winter weather here.
-
Map?
-
Hey qq.... Maybe this will happen. We see how December has been so far ( although not way above normal ). The mountains of the northeast have been doing very well as far as Snow. If the Winter gets going in January and February, that works for me. Happy Sunday

Who is this JBenedet ( is he the one people call the pope? ). Anyway, should we take what he is saying with a grain of Salt or not? Not sure how to take him?

Is there some credence to a possible Storm around the 18th? Saw some comments from a few on a live feed a bit ago.
-
Remember, you have your select few that are going to look for every aspect of a crappy month. They will ride any model that shows warmth and rain and hype it up just to try and get a rise out of some. We have no idea what it will be like towards Christmas at this point.

Lots of snow up here at the Canadian border!! Also lots of flurries
-
? Temps are forecast to be in the mid forties Mon-Wed.. then the low 40's Thurs and Friday. Isn't that the average temps? Much warmer in my mind would be the 50's. Only Sunday into Sunday night could be near 60.
-
For driving up to Quebec City late tonight. I think they did get some snow on the ground up there as well. I'm hoping so as we're going to go to the old Christmas village and do some other things winter related

George, I'm loving the new look on you lol. You really have become more level-minded and right on par with all of your posts. Good for you!!
-
I'm laughing but I'm also rooting for you guys. Suck a measly event, but if it were my area with this possibility now, I'd be all over it. Lol Hoping you guys get a few Inches. At least it takes the edge off for a little while ( well, until Sunday when the big Rain storm washes it away ).
