  1. So in the last 12 hours for Southern New England ( Connecticut Rhode Island area ).... All the weather maps went from hmmmmm.... To .. Aaaaahhhhh.. to... OUCH Par for course this winter. Lol
  2. Sorry, just not following where you're referring to with your initials. PSM/PWM. Can You elaborate on those please. Thanks
  3. Yeah... I was in that area where the tongue licked our ass just west of hartford..... A trace at best... Sucked balls!!!
  4. We done, bring on spring. I've already thrown the worries out the window. If we do wind up getting something, I'm still on board of course. But I'm so not worried at all now as it's not looking too promising ahead.
  5. So taking next Tuesday out of the equation, how is it looking for their out as far as future storms for the end of next week into the following week? Do we still see a pattern that's set up to give us snow? Or are we pretty much done?
  6. I couldn't agree more. Problem is when you want to comment and try to be positive. You get people either given the weenie symbol or tell you to get a life lol. Same goes if we're being negative. The point of all this is everybody's frustrated. That's normal. But in the end it's just weather. There's always hope until the season's done. Some like to harp on it longer than others.
  7. Well let's hope that the GFS and the euro can meet in the middle. That would be a good spot for the storm.
  8. I get your hesitation. It's been like that all winter long, but if there's some hope then there's hope.
  9. My biggest concern is that if we do get this pattern took colder solution for the blocky pattern, some forecast models are showing a dryer air mass for the Northeast. We've had so much rain over the last 8 months, I'm just wouldn't be surprised if things are on the dryer side over the next month here. But it just takes one storm!!! The season is not over until it's over. That's how I always look at every winter, including last winter ( although we know how that turned out )
  10. That's probably going to change now. Apparently that storm offshore next week is going to drag down colder air to bring the temperatures into the 30s. So I think that's going to be revised
  11. My ex also got stuck coming home from work during that tornado. He took a picture of it from his car. At the time, he worked in Springfield and we lived in Somers and what normally took him 15-20 minutes to get home took 4 hours because the Tornado carved a path that made it almost impossible to get by
  12. Well that's good for you because mine is not lol. He actually can't stand the cold and snow at all. But he supports me anyway ( just think some crazy ).
  13. Well... I'd have to push my Hubby aside for Valentines day!!! This would be my new love ( for the day )!
  14. Ha!! We actually got just under 2" from yesterday's storm ( was actually a bit of a surprise as it wasn't expecting anything ). Trust me I'm not heartbroken either way. As much as I love the weather everyone else on this forum, it doesn't dictate my life. However, I don't need to use sarcasm and weenie symbols just to make myself feel better. But you do you!
  15. Your such an Ass!!! Lol Never said I'm not going to come in and out to see what's going on. Just don't have much to say as far as any storms coming in. But then again, you and your sidekick Allsnow like to bring your sarcasm and Weenie symbols ( although I'm kind of starting to like it more and more though as I wouldn't expect anything less from you guys )
  16. Guess I'll see you guys if we have more Winter to track...but from what I'm reading and seeing... For at least the next 2 weeks.... Nothing Burger!!!
  17. I'm not sure why he's allowed to make any posts on here. It's not about someone having an opinion on being able to share their thoughts. He has zero constructive input. He has nothing to bring to the table. I'm not sure who is the moderator is on here, but nothing is being done and nothing will be done ( and that's not meant to be a jab to any of the moderators ). Most people just let it go because he's just not worth anyone's energy.
  18. That's odd. You're in southington and I'm in Plainville. We had just under about an inch and a half here. I am up on the hill behind Big Y. About 500 feet up. Maybe being up a little higher made a difference. I do know this morning when we went to church at 7:30 it was just starting to mix, when we got out of really started to snow. Up our hill. It started sticking on the roads halfway up the hill. It's been pinging here now for a little while too
  19. I disagree. I'm just west of Hartford and I'm still in the under inch range on the map. We already had just shy of 2 inches from the event today. And if we do get some more tonight that would just add to the totals.
  20. It only takes 1 blockbuster... I laugh with all this talk that it's over. However, I do agree that we are not in a great pattern to sustain a " True Winter ", but it's only takes one. No way I would give up on the next two months at this point. If nothing comes of it, no meltdown here.
  21. Pope is such a bozo. He likes throwing things out there just to get a rise out of people. Thinking he's got something twisted up there in his brain lol
  22. Yeah we got about an inch and a half inch and three quarters here as well. Sleet did mix in on our way home from church at about 9:30, then it was back to snow again. It's actually stopped right now. I didn't expect everything to be covered and for us to have almost 2 in of snow from the daytime around 1... But I'm pleasantly surprised and glad that I didn't expect this to happen.
