  1. Getting into NAM range out west. With so many moving parts out west the NAM may be useful
  2. I'll take it verbatim, then last minute stronger storm that cuts more north during nowcast time. ++ Lake enhancement
  3. I keep thinking of those "if it snows 3 inches or more on new years day" deals
  4. Long range NAM tho.. take it with grain of salt
  5. Or 3 days.. lots to go still. Anything on the table imo
  6. Which is worse than a DAB for those keeping score on the ALEK speak. Or he may need a wellness check
  7. It means he doesn't agree with the models, and/or an attempt at reverse psychology.
  8. LOT mentioned this as a possibility. Interesting
  9. Some yellows and oranges popping up on radar.. If it can stays all snow for a bit
  10. Dry slot potential somewhere with this thing
  11. Agreed.. it's also the CMC tho :). But sounds like that is a preferred blend of what GFS and Euro show, so wise to go with it in this case I guess
  12. Little worried about temps and mixing here on our area
  13. True. But there also may not be much of a storm left to track either. Still too far out to hang hat on any solution
  14. The "4 main regimes" part is interesting to me tho. If you can fit 100 years or so worth of data into these buckets and try to then analyse it.
  15. Plenty of time with this one, in both strength and location. I wouldn't worry yet about 1 model run. The solution is still fuzzy at best
  16. 18z NAM kinda looked juiced. Let's see if it repeats.
  17. I don't think the Euro has it South..I think that's the secondary low that develops behind it?
  18. Some would say that makes us in the perfect position
  19. I'm hoping that has some positive impact on the Jan 1st/2nd one
  20. And if we can get lucky and squeeze out a bit of early snow cover, it may go a long way to speed that process up
  21. Just progressively bump things south a few hundred miles over time.
