  1. Monday is going to be REAL fun. Waking up to temperatures in the teens, even single digits. Then add the wind too, and its going to feel 10 below outside.
  2. That is one downside of living at the shore
  3. I'm concerned, that if we do get a changeover to rain for a period, it washes away all that salt, then, once it changes back to snow, you'll get a sheet of ice on the roads.
  4. 12z ICON shifted the rain/snow line farther north.
  5. I have a lot more to be concerned with for now with 1st semester exams this week. Come Friday, I'll be much more interested.
  6. That'll be enough to shut down the whole Northeast.
  7. I hope this will be the "big one". Rain/snow line is too close to comfort for me as of now, but its still almost a week away.
  8. Flakes getting bigger. 28/27 right now. About 1.5" on the ground.
  9. I'd really rather rain than ice. Many people around here can't drive when it's nice out. And even with an inch or two of snow on the ground, it's insane how much people panic over. Over an inch of ice, that's a recipe for disaster on the NJ Turnpike.
  10. Pretty decent band of snow here. Everything is covered, roads, grass, cars, etc. Got about half an inch on the ground.
  11. Fingers crossed. No flurries flying around yet. Just need a tick off 20 or so miles north and east and I'll be very well pleased.
  12. Para GFS has been the best run for my location in a few runs.
  13. Hoping to get at least an inch or two in South NJ
  14. Looks to be a good sunset tonight. Always get good ones, as well as sunrises before any threatening weather.
  15. Hope the NAM ticks to the north a little. That cutoff is a little close for me. 19 degrees here. Wind chill was at 5 degrees this morning
  16. I'm only 17 here. Send out my own forecasts to my friends, am the "Weatherboy" for my school. And I've been fascinated with the weather since I was 4.
  17. Sorry to interrupt, but I recently bought a Ambient Weather WS-2092A, and was wondering where and how to mount it somewhere where results would be most valid. I unfortunately have probably the worst house on the street in terms of "open area". Currently have it mounted on the roof, but I'm getting readings of 5-12 mph when its consistently blowing 20-25 gusting to 30. Any ideas?
  18. I am pleased that Route 37 has been paved recently. But, add some freezing rain to that fresh asphalt and it'll be a skating rink.
  19. I legit washed my car yesterday too. And that road has gotten terrible with the potholes from the TR toll plaza southward the past two years
  20. That's an awesome picture. I've been pretty good at getting sunrises/sunsets around here
