Monday is going to be REAL fun. Waking up to temperatures in the teens, even single digits. Then add the wind too, and its going to feel 10 below outside.
I'm concerned, that if we do get a changeover to rain for a period, it washes away all that salt, then, once it changes back to snow, you'll get a sheet of ice on the roads.
I'd really rather rain than ice. Many people around here can't drive when it's nice out. And even with an inch or two of snow on the ground, it's insane how much people panic over. Over an inch of ice, that's a recipe for disaster on the NJ Turnpike.
Sorry to interrupt, but I recently bought a Ambient Weather WS-2092A, and was wondering where and how to mount it somewhere where results would be most valid. I unfortunately have probably the worst house on the street in terms of "open area". Currently have it mounted on the roof, but I'm getting readings of 5-12 mph when its consistently blowing 20-25 gusting to 30. Any ideas?
