  1. It's hot for 9AM, but it's not hot enough to cause heat related power outages though.
  2. Where? That can't be heat related, it's honestly not hot enough yet for that to be an issue.
  3. Most people are between 83 and 86 already on the Ambient Weather stations.
  4. How can the RGEM and GEMLAM be so different for Tuesday?
  5. Do the people who are all gung ho for record heat and say they like it actually spend any appreciable time in it? Going from an air conditioned car to an air conditioned office to an air condirtioned home does not impress me. Granted I think @LibertyBell actually enjoys suffering in heat if he sleeps in temps over 80 voluntarily. I'm not so sure about some other people.
  6. Not sure how anyone can enjoy this weather.
  7. The temperature is dropping like molasses
  8. Can someone post the 18z Euro's highs for Tuesday?
  9. Where's @LibertyBellwhen you need him lol
  10. 18z GEMLAM has 108 degrees Tuesday afternoon in SW Nassau County hahahahahahahaha
  11. @FPizz I'm playing with you FYI Tuesday is 102 at LGA, 101 at JFK, 99 at Central Park. I think the "warmer" models verify on Tuesday
  12. When you're 95 to 100 you don't expect to be in the mid 80s by 5PM. A couple models have 70s. One of the worst parts of heatwaves in the city is the temps staying at absurdly high levels deep into the night. Being 80 degrees at 5PM is actually quite comfortable lol I wouldn't call that normal for a "major heatwave"
  13. I asked myself if I should go back and change that as I posted it lol. Most people are in the 80s by Monday evening.
  14. Saturday 0z RGEM run was giving NYC low 100s for tomorrow, the latest 18z RGEM shows only 95 before a major ocean push cools everyone down quickly.
  15. Euro is still showing those numbers for Tuesday, either it will bust badly or will score a great coup
  16. I consider 98 as a bust when the Euro is saying 106 still.
  17. If it wasn't for the dewpoints today would have felt pretty decent. There's a strong breeze and temps are tolerable.
  18. Late day highs as far as I'm concerned are still a bust. Peaking at 90 for like an hour when you spent most of the day in the 70s and some 80s and the expected highs were mid 90s+ and sunny produces a total different day perception wise.
  19. How far SW can it go. Just an epic bust on the models
  20. Hey anyone in the low 90s right now around here? Because that's what the 12z EURO said we were currently at lololol
  21. Models still have a seabreeze tomorrow too. Tomorrow might be a quick run at the mid to upper 90s before we drop down precipitously in the afternoon.
