  1. It must be the dry conditions helping highs like Brian said. At least with the low dews it's still cooling down nicely at night, even in the city.
  2. I bet even with the warmer planet these cool lows would have happened more often if it wasn't for the warmer planet jacking up dews in summer in our part of the world.
  3. Looks like all the rural locations have been recording top 10 warmest summers lately. Since it's not UHI, I wonder what it is lol
  4. Thank you. Weren't the 60s and 70s colder than the 80s and 90s? It's an interesting qwerk how the latter wound up with more days <55 than the former.
  5. I bet in a lot of those low count decades farther back there were a ton of low 50s readings that barely missed the <50 cutoff.
  6. I was hoping for a slow climb through the 60s, not a rocketing temp. From 6AM to 830AM I went from 55 degrees to 70 degrees. Boo
  7. Where are you? I dropped to 55 degrees in east Queens. Doesn't matter much because temps shot up to the low to mid 70s already, I'm actually surprised it got that warm that quick. Kind of a bummer.
  8. Wait are you being sarcastic? Unless he sprinted them there's no way he's be sweating at 45 degrees lol
  9. It's the other way around, the cycles are progressing in a fashion that should be making us cooler. But they are being overwhelmed by greenhouse gas emissions.
  10. Even though you're annoying with this stuff you're not wrong. I'm not impressed with a -2 that was barely a -1 only 5 years ago. I'll take it of course because it's better than nothing
  11. Amazing what low dewpoints can do when given the opportunity. The soupy air is one of the reasons why even rural areas can't cool down properly at night anymore.
  12. I wrote farther up how noontime on the September Equinox is the same angle as the June solstice at 4PM. 90s at 4PM on June 21st feel plenty hot haha
  13. You'd be surprised. I remember the mid 90s in October 2019 and it felt hot as hell despite the lower Sun. The Sun angle on the September Equinox at solar noon is about the same as the June solstice Sun angle at 4PM.
