  1. I knew about the Coned site there, I just figured maybe it was a bit too far south based on where the number for the station is placed on the map. On top of that Streetview there is from 2022 so it doesnt show the new fence the webcam is peaking through toward the street so you can't even see the micronet site from the street, there is an old wooden fence behind the metal fence blocking the view on Streetview. But when you look in the same direction as the webcam you can clearly see the same building with the same horizontal white stripe on it. Mystery solved, thanks again!
  2. Why do they have to have 50 stations along the east River and zero micronet sites in east Queens? That one number in the eastern half isn't even a micronet site, it's Queens College, part of the state mesonet.
  3. Can the downsloping off the moraine add anything to the temperature on the south side? It's about 150 to 200 feet high depending on where you are running west to east in Queens.
  4. 92s in northern Queens, 96s and one 97 popping up in southern Queens. 3K NAM has a sea breeze for the south shore areas and a few miles inland, I am not sure that will be accurate, it has northern Queens and Nassau as hotter for afternoon highs than the southern halves.
  5. Wait I think you're talking about the Astoria one. I know that area, I used to go bowling there a while back haha. The Corona one is well SE of that, somewhere near 50th Ave and 103rd street judging by the placement of the temperature on the map. The webcam shows it facing a regular street.
  6. You would think it would be at least as good if not better that the Ambient Stations I use for temps around the area. I've been trying to pinpoint the Corona one for days using satellite, streetview, building colors in the webcam, etc. I can't seem to find it.
  7. Local Ambient Stations have only gone up one degree in the last hour, odd, been sitting at around 90 since about 8AM
  8. High of 71 means you know the dewpoint won't be any higher than that lol Considering I spent most of the day yesterday with a dewpoint near 80 degrees it's going to feel downright dry!
