  1. Well the wind is too strong lol The temps though are lovely Is the wind supposed to stay strong all afternoon?
  2. Much nicer today for the outdoor Easter eating and activities.
  3. Ironically those all time record highs in July 1936 happened in a month that actually finished below normal using today's averages.
  4. Oh hell no I got the AC on lol
  5. It seems the biggest heat is clustered near the Jersey shore and also just east of Manhattan/western Queens (away from the south shore of course.) Eastern Queens is actually warmer than western Queens.
  6. Their dewpoint is probably a lot worse, which is the worst part of summer.
  7. It spiked to 87, now it's back to 84. There were other Ambient weather stations in the area with similar numbers.
  8. 87 degrees now! For the love of god make it stop.
  9. Torching here with 84 degrees. Give me my 60s back!
  10. Man that wind REALLY started to howl a little while ago
  11. How do you get so warm? Where are you located?
  12. Perfect spring day, I want this for the entire spring. I hate AC season.
  13. Will it be closer to 20 because it won't be that hot or because Central Park is notorious for recording many 89 degree days while everyone else is in the 90s?
  14. 75 too hot. You need AC indoors if it's sunny and 75 outside this time of year.
  15. Give me today every day through the end of June.
  16. I bet there are a bunch more 33s or even 34s being recorded now than there were before, when the temp would have registered as a 32 instead. Basically we're missing freezing by a a degree or two when in the past it would have been 32 or 31. I'm wondering if anyone has the stats to confirm that.
  17. All airports and major stations were either 32 or 31 degrees that morning. Definitely not radiational cooling.
  18. Snowfall isn't listed as a choice sadly.
  19. Looks like it could still be correct with a bit variation across the area:
  20. I've been saying that the "pause" in rising temps of the 70s and part of the 80s was because global aerosols peaked during this time, causing some volcanic like cooling effect on the atmosphere. Once serious cleanup of the air began in the 90s, couple that with ever increasing GHG emissions, the temps resumed their march upward.
  21. By the time we get to May the averages are so high that even below normal is decently warm to enjoy the outdoors.
  22. The radar is reminding me of a classic noreaster
  23. I like how it took until mid April not to have a sneaky mid level warm layer
  24. Every single model has turned this into a snow event north and west, or even wet non accumulating snow for parts of the coast. A couple models have some accumulation for parts of the coast as well.
