  1. I'm actually so excited for popcorn t-storm season. And Afternoon/evening squall season. Really hope we get a couple nader opportunities too.
  2. Like Baum said, I'm ready to chase the next ball kicker. This looks like a much more interesting setup no?
  3. Nice little maximum (close to) in your backyard huh
  4. Coping hard but we got an interesting sunset out of it at least over here. The edge of the cloud deck is visible to the west with blood orange skies beyond. It's the little things
  5. You and me both. Probably just a few miles away from you rn, been watching the edge of the precip just slowly edge closer and then stop in its tracks.
  6. Band of heavy returns about to pivot over dupage like molasses taking a shit.
  7. The system around 180 hours out catches my eye because it looks like if it happens, it might be a less thermally marginal setup (right?). I guess if it isn't a shitter sludge storm then I'd be more open to one last chance.
  8. I must concede of course that this is going to be just another painfully close mess for the Chi-Town crew, but I hope it overproduces somewhere at least instead of bitching out at the last minute.
  9. Still like where I'm at, this is totally gonna be one of those now casting north western shifters
  10. Lays down the white stuff imby like coke on a hooker's back Edit: so about four sleet pellets worth
  11. The HRRR is bumping north slowly too if anyone cares
  12. Come on homie join the fun club, the correct response is "Final call >8 inches"
  13. Yes, with the wind blowing away from you
  14. Sure the NAM may have shifted SE but it's still on a different plane of reality than the lame models.
  15. That's where I am too, albeit off of much less experience. The models aren't even weakening the low, it's just moving farther SE anyway. IIRC RC explained days ago how aspects of this setup could lend themselves to that occuring but the wiener in me won't back off. Odds are this really will be the last shot of the year that gets to this range at all so might as well give it the old college try.
  16. Wow. Jokingly, it really doesn't get much more bullseyeish than that for Chicago
  17. Oh kind soul, could you slide that EPS data when the time arises
  18. Okay the GFS didn't crush Chicago but it is another bump back NW.
  19. If the GFS crushes Chicago this next run you guys all have to zelle me $5.
