    1.7 at 10-1 is 17” at some point This will fall at 12-1/15-1 bringing totals close to 20”+ for some areas on Niagara Frontier

    ATM the Niagara frontier has anywhere from bare ground to a few, crunchy inches. This will change substantially around midnight Monday am to the midday Monday when the commahead is expected to park itself at the pivot point and deliver hours of heavy snow.

    I read the AFD about 20 minutes ago and it’s just incredible. The comma head will be overhead Monday for several hours until the intensity drops as the system moves NE. They stated there is a chance someone in that area could exceed 18” during that time. Really exciting read.

    Gotta be honest I’m surprised I’m receiving the snow I am currently from Lake Ontario. This gives me real optimism that the numbers the models are currently showing can be achieved with the help of the lake during and after the system.

    Actually light snow in Williamsville and the band is coming in from Lake Ontario. My feeling is anywhere North of the thruway for this event is in for the best enhancement. I feel this COULD be a reason for the inflated numbers?
