  1. RGEM once again proved to be a good mesoscale model in these types of situations.
  2. if you can take a screencapture of the photos, you can have them in take up less memory and you'll be able to upload them. That's what I do.
  3. right, exactly. the mesos did fine if you didn't consider the clown maps. the soundings were accurate. just a good lesson for me.
  4. Takeaway for the coast: either the 900 mb level or the ground level was too warm to accumulate, but I don't know which. Probably both.
  5. happens. I felt this way in that first March storm of 2018. Granted, I wasn't expecting as much but the changeover seemed inevitable and just never came. Just a tad bitter.
  6. yeah, I've had it good on the coast for a while. And the worst part is, I'm snowing so hard, but with ground temps at 33 degrees, it's melting as it accumulates. Maybe we'll get some more with the final band coming through.
  7. unreal. stuck at 4 inches two towns over.
  8. Here's the 700mb fronto from 20 minutes ago. Probably our best shot at getting another couple inches.
  9. Seriously, super frustrating. Lexington on NW will be seeing 12+ most likely.
  10. 3-4" inches of pure slush in Somerville
  11. About 3 inches of slop here in Davis Square. Hearing drops falling from the tree branches. Depending on what happens the next 4 hours, could be quite the "man snow" or a disappointment. A real mess out here.
  12. Puking snow, must be an inch an hour at least. We'll see how long the r/s line can hold off.
  13. Wonder if we cool a little when best forcing comes ashore.
  14. Lol, point and click upped the forecast from 6-10 an hour ago to 9-17. Not sure that's the correct direction to be correcting!
