  1. Heavy snow with sleet mixing. 30/27 Radar looks to be filling in.
  2. That's wild. 8-9" at Mount Snow on the cam but they are reporting 14", Stratton reporting 11", Magic at 8".
  3. Surprised to only see 8-9" on the Mount Snow summit cam.
  4. Looking out at some heavy sleet now. Just under 9" so only about an inch since bed at 11pm. That 8-10pm window last night had some of the best rates and flakes I've seen in a couple years so whatever happens today is fine by me.
  5. The question is...does UMass close so I can skin the range? lol
  6. Just wait. Parachutes 15 miles to your south. Last time I saw this was 3-4" per hour rates at Pico.
  7. Seriously! It's amazing. Best since moving here in 2016. Love watching the heavier stuff push north. Pounding cottonballs now.
  8. This keeps up and reggie's 20+ Quabbin jack will be right. Damn
  9. Some funny cherry picking earlier. But you have your own IG weather page!
  10. Solid 1" per hour rates with some heavier stuff on the doorstep. Approaching 3"
  11. Solid 1" per hour rates with some heavier stuff on the doorstep. Approaching 3" Sorry - meant for the obs thread.
  12. Noticing a few models keep snow in the valley and lower hills to east and west mix. I don't see how cold air funnels down.
  13. First inch down and some great flakes. 26/23 in Belchertown.
  14. You being further N will help. I'm in some higher terrain of Belchertown and would love the RGEM to be correct but thinking 4-6" round one , dry slot since we are east of the river, then maybe an inch or two extra. No matter what happy to start December with white.
  15. Can typically only skin/ski the Holyoke Range a couple days a year. Might be able to come Monday afternoon.
  16. HRRR going wild for later on from central CT north.
  17. Wow. Clearly about being north and not elevation outside the valley.
  18. Got a surprise wake up from the baby at 4am and the deck and other areas were partially white and crusty. Some parts of the lawn and woods are white with sleet. Hugging 35* right now, I think we flip and get some good flakes later on.
  19. HLM and other regression heavy stats then Bayesian for the win! Accounting for variance and predictive power is where it is at. I was weak in math (barely survived trig in high school) but stats is different than algebra, calc, etc. imo. Any much more useful - at least in research and predictions.
  20. "Wind" being the key at Jay - they have no problem shutting the tram and Freezer down for "wind" during slow midweeks in January and February. Is it warranted sometimes - sure. But it's an easy excuse.
