That's wild. 8-9" at Mount Snow on the cam but they are reporting 14", Stratton reporting 11", Magic at 8".

Looking out at some heavy sleet now. Just under 9" so only about an inch since bed at 11pm. That 8-10pm window last night had some of the best rates and flakes I've seen in a couple years so whatever happens today is fine by me.

You being further N will help. I'm in some higher terrain of Belchertown and would love the RGEM to be correct but thinking 4-6" round one , dry slot since we are east of the river, then maybe an inch or two extra. No matter what happy to start December with white.

Can typically only skin/ski the Holyoke Range a couple days a year. Might be able to come Monday afternoon.

"Wind" being the key at Jay - they have no problem shutting the tram and Freezer down for "wind" during slow midweeks in January and February. Is it warranted sometimes - sure. But it's an easy excuse.

A t-bar at Jay would be nice so there is some way of skiing that place when there is wind or crowds are low.

Seriously - last November was nuts if you were up for earning turns. Magic was incredible prior to Thanksgiving.

Every pic of that area always looks bone dry. Does it bake in the sun all day? Is it compacted in or loose?
