  1. Juicer west of Boston, SVT and NH. Mixing to the pike most of the duration.
  2. Didn't 14-16" a couple Monday nights ago get an advisory? lol
  3. Just looked at the 12z HRRR. Thing has been $ so far this year. Caught the mix line and timing very well as well as banding areas in the 12-2 storm (although a lot more than was modeled) and did well with the two smaller events. I'll ride it.
  4. You are an Instagram meteorologist, shouldn't you be able to find them?
  5. Winds are roaring. Grill rolled a few feet on the deck.
  6. Solid 5-6" still covering the front yard. The pack is on to Cincinnati.
  7. South side of Bare and Hancock are where it is at. Amazing stunted trees, fire roads, and thin woods. Bare is super steep, Hancock is more intermediate/advanced. You can get about 500 vertical feet in on both.

  8. Can typically only skin/ski the Holyoke Range a couple days a year. Might be able to come Monday afternoon.
  9. "Wind" being the key at Jay - they have no problem shutting the tram and Freezer down for "wind" during slow midweeks in January and February. Is it warranted sometimes - sure. But it's an easy excuse.
  10. A t-bar at Jay would be nice so there is some way of skiing that place when there is wind or crowds are low.
  11. Best of luck! You'll be back! (I thought hip replacements were anti-bump surgery???)
  12. Seriously - last November was nuts if you were up for earning turns. Magic was incredible prior to Thanksgiving.
  13. Every pic of that area always looks bone dry. Does it bake in the sun all day? Is it compacted in or loose?
  14. Couple weekends ago I burned 75% of front yard down to dirt with a weed wacker, blew it all out, threw down 2 yards of loam, aerated it all, a bag of Scotts Sun and Shade, rolled it, straw on top, and have been watering non-stop. Really impressed what has popped up in two weeks. Looking forward to Wed-Fri rain since I'm getting sick of watering it 2-3x a day.
  15. Love it. Had a pass there the past 5 years. If you havent tried it get there. We have turned the mountain into one big glade lol
  16. Surprised no one has started wishcasting/discussing a Floyd-like track.
  17. Early season was pretty incredible last year. Friend's and I skinned Magic on November 21st after about 14". Since my wife and I are expecting this month and will have less time for skiing I'm sure it will be a historically snowy winter. Heck, there are trees in the Holyoke Range already changing color. You're all welcome.
  18. More debris, mold, and moss gone. Trying to take out the grubs before doing some seeding in a few weeks. When we bought the place last July, fugly.
  19. We heated part of our home, and will heat the whole thing next year, due to them. The number of dying trees along the roads have made it so town/state/electrical companies, etc. just go around dropping trees next to the road and just leave the pieces for people to scrounge over. I have 2.5-3 full cords of oak ready for next year in our yard from roadsides. Will start scrounging for 2020-2021 soon.
  20. Belchertown When skiing in the Holyoke Range one day this year one tree had over 40 on it just in the first 3-4'. We have two trees on the edge of our property on the road that look to be on their way out. Something about this area...
  21. Think it is going to be the worst yet in western Mass. I've never seen so many nests on trees. Last fall I sprayed/removed about 50-60 nests around our woods and it looks like I did not put a dent in them.
