    Touche. Maybe a caveat - More reliable than the NAM >60hrs unless he is in a thread talking to himself. Me thinks there is a social psychology dissertation in there somewhere.

    If James is consistently in a snow thread, Pike north does well. More reliable than the NAM beyond 60hrs.

    Speaking of illness, I don't remember hearing about flu type b going around so much. Towards the end of the semester it seemed to be running wild at UMass. Wife got it this week. Our 4 month old started developing a fever this morning and is cranky. Hello New Year!

    Catamount really is an under rated area. I remember "Off Stage" being an amazing mogul run similar to Bear Trap at Mount Snow. Catapult is no joke. Looking forward to trying to ski their new terrain this year. It's like Sundown adding Satan's Stairway X2.

    Grabbed 9" the first half of the Dec 1-3 storm then woke up to about 16" the follow day. Got D-1" the 2 days following, 2.5" the following Friday. Then a random 3.5" the next Weds. The ice came through in the end here. Encased and sagging pines trees this morning.

    It started off as a fun ice storm threat than turned into thunder and lightning snow/sleet, a severe thunderstorm warning, road conditions that made driving in a Subaru with mud tires a fun challenge, everything is white again. I consider this one a fun win. And it's still pounding sleet. On top of 32+" this December (which is more than Okemo and some southern VT ski areas have received), I consider this December pretty great.

    Sat at 32.2 all night lol. Down to 31.6 with dp falling. .34" Looking at other stations, most in central/western Mass above 800' are <32.

    My wife is admin so no "vacations" but they have had at least one day canceled everyday since the week after Turkey Day. UMass is on break but I still have to be around but not tomorrow.

    I'd agree. Hope you have a wood stove or something. One plus is afterwards is "warm" and not -10 wind chills.
