  1. Some roads blocked off in town due to trees down. A couple good wind gusts when it started.
  2. Models might have overdone 3 weeks ago and under this time. Some decent elements to work with, especially eastern CT.
  3. Where is Wiz with a severe thread? Looking decent for CT, RI, and eastern Mass.
  4. Fish are all messed up at the Quabbin. Even with last year's cold spring the spawn was in full effect. Past 2 weeks all males on beds, almost all females are still off shore. Yet to see a pair on a bed even though the water is in the mid-60s. Went deep in 25-45' and got all bigger females. Given the bellies, they are either full of eggs or still early pre-spawn. Never seen anything like it.
  5. It was a cold spring but I'm not sure how it compares to last year when they made it to June 1. I think the lack of traffic on it has more of a role.
  6. 81/68. I'd be surprised if we didn't get a quick downpour later.
  7. HRRR plays the role of FDR and saves the valley with 2-7" of rain the next 36 hours lol
  8. 71/62, make a run at 90? Looks like most of the lower Hippy Valley is low-mid 70s already.
  9. Noticed this last night, someone in SW CT could get a decent little cell later.
  10. The "face flashes" in the Exorcist are a work of art and a startle every time.
  11. Since our daughter has been born there has been a pandemic, murder hornets, and now these current events. I've been looking for a 666/Omen-like birth-mark.
  12. Yea that is a lot to maintain. When did you throw it down? First time using milo on my own lawn so I'm curious how long the iron brings out the chlorophyll and keeps the dark green, most iron sprays only work for a week or so.
  13. Nice jotul Thanks, she's a beast. Older two-door F400. Not the longest burn times but heats 1500' a little too well.
  14. What a great way to end May, impressive heat. Not much in terms of dews though. House never got above 64* today.
  15. Saw the pics on FB, looks like a few new lines. How much vert? lol
  16. Look for the peregrines. Love watching them and the red tails out the office.
  17. lol, only because June typically brings some heat. Hell you could spoon feed urea the next few weeks if you wanted to.
  18. Yup, left the windows open and still in one. Too windy to hit the Q so it's another perfect landscaping day.
  19. 66/33 with a 10-15mph breeze, leaves turning soon?
  20. When do you all throw down grub controls? I know June is the time but I have not seen any beetles yet but it is June so they should be coming. Been monitoring the rose bushes for damage. Had a serious issue with them and just put down Bayer to kill them last fall and earlier this spring.
  21. 0.17", drought buster. Refreshing morning with all the windows open and a good breeze.
  22. Radar more impressive than what was modeled earlier in the day. Each HRRR run is coming along too.
