    The Quabbin was 81-82* today. Pretty impressive. I dont think I saw 78/79 last year.

    Part of me thinks we have seen models bring a hurricane up the coast 4-5 days out several times, other part says it is 2020 and anything can happen.

    Just look back on radar and it looked decent. Had a lot of water in the boat.

    81/65. Temperature dropped 7 degrees in the past hour thanks to a tiny burst of rain.

    Almost dropped into the 50s, 60.9 now and very nice with windows open and the fan going. A great morning for throwing some topwater baits.

    It's within 7 days so Wiz should be making a thread soon. Can definitely see a cooler August coming. Not starting the woodstove like 2 years ago. We were at a friend's near Magic Mountain at 2000' and had a couple days in a row where mornings were in the low 40s and highs never touched 65.

    Two years ago we had an amazing week of storms. Think we had 3-4 straight days of severe warnings. This memory popped up on my FB feed.

    For sure, anything over 12mph is 2-3 footers lol. Looked on velocity there was something happening before going over the southern part of the Q. Stolen from FB.

    Guess I'm spoiled. Most good storms up here start with a wall of wind a minute before the rain.

    Amazing start. Went from bright to 8:30pm real fast then a 30-40mph wall of wind sending leaves and branches everywhere.

    Quick downpour and now the sun is poking back out.

    I can't imagine what the traffic was like. The summer prior we were staying with friends in Truro and leaving to go meetup with others in Freeport, Maine. Was a random Tues/Wed and a line of storms went through, nothing crazy just a decent severe storm. A couple trees went down and it took us over 4 hours to get from Truro to the Canal.
