    I stopped at the car wash on the commute this morning to beat the inevitable crowds later today. Good chance the fields next to 100 north of Stowe will be snow free by the end of the day today.

    We got another inch before I left for work at 6:40. It was snowing at about an inch per hour rate so the roads were pretty well covered the first 45 minutes or so of the drive.

    Just was outside standing under clear starlit skies without a coat on, I asked myself that eternal question "how much longer do I stand here while my labradors fail to find the tennis ball in the snow?"

    Whats odd to me is that I was living in central VT at the time and have no memory of that storm. I remember having a discussion with a friend at the time that they were having issues at their home because the snow was so deep their dogs kept walking over their stockade fence.

    based on the shear massive number of cars heading north on 89, it is going to be a massive weekend at the Vermont ski resorts.

    I'm jealous. My running got disrupted by a foot issue about three years ago. Podiatrist eventually signed off resuming reduced running but I have not been able to reestablish the routine.
