Here's the cliff notes. Back in June, someone posted a picture of their friend, appearing to be of Asian descent, enjoying a nice evening outside. @Damage In Tolland makes two racist comments about said friend, in two separate posts. I call him out for making racist comments. Posts are deleted by a moderator. Fast Forward to Tuesday..... I post a surface analysis map refuting DITs claims that a warm front was going to make it into central MA. DIT, presumably butthurt, randomly starts posting about getting Chinese food for dinner. What you saw on Tuesday was DIT passively posting about getting called out for his blatant racism two months after the fact, completely unprovoked. Instead of just acknowledging it directly, this loser doubled down.

What a great story. Congratulations.

Cool. Stop pussyfooting around. You're butthurt that I called you out for being a blatant racist. Take the loss and try not being as shitty moving forward. 65/64 RN 0/12" in the stratus.

Triggered in Tolland

Getting all your L's out of the way now, before winter, is certainly a strategy.

69/62 and no breeze here. Yall hose down together after too?

Decent looking clouds

It did. They picked up almost an inch more than me:
-
0.81" for that event. Inside 95 down here was all <1", then as soon as you got west of 95 it was 2-4"+ amounts.
-
0.71" overnight.

Surprised to see GYXs forecast this AM.

yesterday totals: (no map for BTV yet...sorry)

I don't think it's SST influence in Dover-Foxcroft, if that's what you're suggesting. @tamarack If those maps rely on Co-Op data, this might explain what's going on:
-
What data are those maps from...PWS? I wonder if there is one PWS in the center of that bullseye (looks to be Dover-Foxcroft) that is running hot, and maybe there aren't any others nearby, so they extrapolate outwards a certain radius.
-
The widespread 3"+ amounts are impressive. These aren't localized training cells. Whole area west/north of 95 got smoked today. https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&issuedby=GYX&product=PNS

Soaker for you guys. Just under 0.50" in the Stratus for the event, only about 0.25" since 7AM.

Ferry Beach, Scarborough ME.

0.90" and counting on the day. The rain has been relatively steady when falling with big efficient drops. Did spend a few minutes under 35-45dbz here and there to boost the total. Even had a strike 0.2mi away. Beneficial rain. Prior to today, only 0.73" since 7/18 - about 3 weeks. But even then my lawn wasn't "crispy".

Moosehead lake this past week

July has arrived ... the Meteorologically defined mid summer month
tunafish replied to Typhoon Tip's topic in New England
No doubt that this stretch of dews has been remarkable. The heat, as you said, nassomuch. And as Tip said, summers back is broken after this next cold front. Deal with it. -

Spent the past 3 days in your neck of the woods (Crawford Notch) and it's been incredible weather, especially given the summer so far. -

Congrats to Conway, MA on their nation-leading July precip. Almost 20" -
Funny, same exact thing happened the night before to a different artist. I even posted ITT (see quote). Delayed start to set 2. Three songs in they pull the plug. Guitarist even says at the end of the clip "I want it on my permanent record: I didn't want to stop playing. They're making us stop."
