Not to take up the thread but it’s not far from my drive -swing on Golf course . I have to be in the zone otherwise there isn’t much room for error as I nearly leave my feet as I rotate thru ball and yes this somehow went straight

I can carry 300 on my best ...this is Almost exclusive to driving range where I really get a good hip rotation and accelerate my hips thru ball. My friend took a cool slow mo vid of my swing on one of those drives and I was somewhat lucky it went straight. I also love to do the sort of of one step Happy Gilmore / David Ortiz like Home run swing at the range , it’s just fun lol

Old Scotland links in Bridgwater I went our w my Gf and her son and the first hole was frightening even with 2 carts . So I suggested we switch to best ball and that did the job.

Played Stow Country club (Mass) 9 holes. My favorite golf weather . Mid 60’s and dry with a breeze Course was decent

His swing didn’t have That disaster mid swing stop/hitch , but his drive off the T with a shorter more compact swing was a utter disaster on that hole The 9 in New market were a blast ..we played best ball and just had fun. A few of my drives cleared 300. In a best ball I’m useful off the T , otherwise hit and miss ..depending on competition level. There was a tournament I played in couple years ago in that area (I got the longest drive and not much else lol) , the driving range went to 250 and then there was a big net behind that ..and behind that was a small parking lot followed by a police station w what sounded like a tin roof (when hit ) . That was a blast . Definitely going out again soon to play another Round. Golf may just turn out to be the most popular sport this summer
