  1. Ya , if I got land it wouldn’t be in some mediocre spot relative to Snowfall . Rangeley seems like it would have the most seasons for rental potential (Busy summer lake ) / Winter (Ski) early / mid fall (foliage ) thou Covid has thrown a large wrench into that market , should be some distressed second home sales this winter in my opinion and likely a lot more if travel /lodging restrictions are re imposed . There are a few plots near Dixville / E Colebrook that would see nice appreciation if that proposed ski resort ever got the funding to get off the ground near the Balsams .
  2. I want to be in NNE or at least have the option . I was looking at plots of land in a few NNE spots the last couple weeks . Sort of like a 3-5 year plan beginning with the purchase of several acres then development . Really Would enjoy a NNE climate , ideally something Low risk but with nice rental potential. Rangeley Maine (1800’)Jay ,VT 1300’ , and even Colebrook / Dixville 1800’ or so all looked interesting...probably in that Order.
  3. Elderly saying hear it from the ggilfs
  4. Actually feels decent out for a change 83 Nashua
  5. If the Late month Heat holds BDL will break the record ...regardless of what they do today. I don't believe that late Month heat is a lock right now.
  6. College has been a great investment in indebtedness the last decade for kids who choose degrees w poor job prospects
  7. not really He is at his worst and gets the most flack deservedly when he makes a call and as you are closer to verification he won't admit that his call was wrong and just spins things to the point of stupidity to "not admit" that he was wrong...but other times he is on point. We shall see
  8. cranky sees troughing and the end of the constant torch starting with the first blow this weekend than another a week later
  9. i would like to go into a 40 day hibernation. this weather is lame
  10. last years second half of August had 2-3 lows in the 40’s and many in the 50’s . I had it in my mind we had a solid amount of cool nites in Bedford and Nashua and I don’t see many 90’s in ASH last August
  11. I would say the MTA President isn’t representing most teachers and she is likely overplaying her hand but I don’t mean to say that anyone concerned about their safety or kids returning is in the wrong.
  12. Got to 92 in Nashua I believe . This weather is basically garbage at this point . Maybe cane fuel lol Seems its certainly more difficult to keep things under 90 than go above
  13. Ya, and there prices are very very reasonable for a solid spot . They are in a good locale 15 min to N Conway eats
  14. I stayed at the Attitash Grand Hotel and one nite after 1am they had a bear in the lobby . Just walked in thru automatic doors and some panicked employee noticed it like 20 mins later hahaha
  15. What month to bears go back to sleep in Stowe ..November?
  16. They are a front runner as far as immune response looks . There is approval and then there is a game changer level of efficiency. Pfizer and Moderna will cross the finish line before but that is not the most importer thing obviously . Shares are rocking close to 180$. Phase 3 data and dissecting the (median response of high risk individuals looks to be a total unknown currently ) as well as the length of immunity period (mild cases may not offer much ) and possible LT side effects of lack there of (which there will be no time to conduct studies on by the time mass vaccination is approved . Will be interesting , Especially in vaccines that lead to symptomatic responses . Mr Fauci has been vocal in dialing hopes back a bit.
  17. Worse education (it’s not really close ) and more costs to parents . At some point people (likely after a mediocre vaccine ) will realize they have to live with this virus for a very long time and breathe . The likelihood of a very effective vaccine seems unlikely and the real data will be phase 3 when they actually test the response on the populations who make up 90% of hospitalizations (obese / smokers / elderly ) and hospital workers in high Covid areas make up a large % of the relatively small number of healthy 20-50 year olds hospitalized that don’t fall into the other co-morbidity’s. No easy choices , Mose suburbanites aren’t used to not having a painless option.
  18. Gfs Loop last 8 runs has consistently shown 3-4 canes go south of Baja. Lets see if our SAL keeps a lid on anything major forming when things are suppose to become active again post August 20 in Atlantic
