I was about to bring the umbrella and chairs in… In the middle of November and I made the decision to keep them out. The truth is for better or worse our climate is warm so much at this point that I could see using them several days in Dec Jan and Feb…and using it almost full time from mid March on. Even this next shot of cold looks transient… In that I could already see that warm up towards the end of the month. 63F at 445p

I dont know about the sun. would need to happen this morning…and that wont help too much. The radar shows a wall of water moving in from late morning onward. Surprisingly, all the airports are starting off below 60F 53F here in Westchester

Agreed 100%. My default to shorts and a T-shirt and a hoodie down to about 40. And from there minimally warmer unless it’s well below 20. But I’m outside all the time all year round because that’s where we are meant to be

Nobody is canceling anything. December has become a home run hitter in the twilight of his career. May come through for you; but don’t bet on it. Warm November followed by warm December usually means your winter is pretty much fucked. Doesn’t mean that will happen this year. I can tell you this though: you’re going to need a real cold second half to November to get this month below normal or even to normal.
