WHY? I'm NOT ready for it, broken/Inop..,, water-heater & too dern Poor,, to turn the Emergency heat on with the HVAC, (Heat pump is on the fritz),, LandLord,,, (Cough-SlumLord), doesn't have $$ to fix the broken things.. So we freeze...

The 12ZGFS (and 12Z NAM) and NamNest looks intriguing  out too 18Z Saturday tomorrow.. Looks GREAT for some of you Upstate Folks (Al/SC/NC),, if it comes to pass..

The 12Z HRRR Only went out too 11Z tomorrow, though @ the end of the Run starts too look Promisingly in Line with the Panels I posted above..

The most truth ever spoken here.  I predict a cold and rainy spring transitioning to a very nice May followed by 2 months of dry, followed by an August and September where it rains every weekend.

with temps in the Triple digits, w/ nearly 100% Humidity & Dews..

  3. Well,, This looks promising for, as of Now, 4~6 runs in a row now?

(Similar too the 7~8th time frame that was showing "Snow" 7~8th timeframe, out 2 weeks ago?)  ;)

    -------------- (Country Song)-------------------

Commence Hound Dog Howling about NO COLD..

    *******

Models I loved & hugged You long ago,,

You promised Me so much Snow,,

Yet,, here,, on the Edge I sit,,

    Leaving melted tears of regret?

    First verse..

    Carry ON..

Front has just cleared the Coast..

Crazy Wind(s) at the surface Still from the SW~SSW into the 30's mph range..

Yet looking above,   (watching & listening to the Sounds of Freedom, F-35's from Cherry Point, LeJune),

Lower nimbus clouds Racing in from the North/NE (I guess at about 5000 feet)..

It IS interesting getting,  "extreme" winds from one direction, (SW~SSW) in the 30 mph range,,, while watching clouds going in the exact opposite direction (N~NNE)....

    Feels like MARCH outside..

    You not the only one.

I've heard of a lakes cutter, app runner.

    But not a coastal cutter.

    That's still a Miller A or B or hybrid.

Tryed to look up Jan 2018.

But https://climate.ncsu.edu/tools/wxevents changed and no as informative and in depth as once it was.

As @Orangeburgwx said, and others, added,, a  *Coastal Cutter* , something like THIS! ;)

    https://www.weather.gov/ilm/christmassnow1989

Again, the GFS AND other Models are flouting a "brief" , though, robust cold shot 6~8th..

Can the Coastal counties make something work?

@Wow, What's you're thinking, (IF) the piece of LP get's left behind?

    What is a coastal cutter?

Either a, great "Snow Storm, OR Pastebomb" for Us Coastal Folks..

Mostly, starting & ending in a very cold rain.. With snow in between..

Not much for ya'll inland folks (except on the "outskirts" that don't get warm-nosed.. ) Like inland Pender County etc, etc,,

Works out Awesome East & South of I-95 & North & West, of Highway 17.... (Sometimes)
