  2. yes, both our healthcare and education system have been extremely underfunded for decades now, this was a disaster that was predictable from long ago
  3. some would argue that this was needed to radically change the system (talking in all ways not just the specific thing you highlighted), the status quo was unsustainable and needed a big change.
  4. isnt this supposed to develop into a double low structure with one low to the east and the other hanging back?
  5. my two favorites are Jan 2016 (twelve straight hours of blizzard conditions) and Jan 2018 (six straight hours of blizzard conditions), both were a complete daylong white out!
  6. thats a low resolution snowfall map though, the one Don posts is more precise in terms of showing localized snowfall amounts
  7. the world would be a FAR better place if we were all vegan
  8. I just saw it. The camera is focused on her so naturally the snowflakes are not in focus and that's why you can't see them as well. She just said she measured 6 inches of snow there.

  13. thats correct....two classic cases of this were Dec 2002 and PD2. We're usually too far west for the best from Miller B's. The overrunning usually more than makes up for whatever we were supposed to get on the back end. When the overrunning doesn't happen, that's when you have problems and busts.
  14. Wow Baltimore has more than anyone else on these lists! What major cities do we have left on the east coast? Boston and Providence I think? Can you find those too, Tony?
  15. getting a new dog= higher chances of snow buying a new snowblower= lower chances of snow I think you did the right thing
