    Blue Wave or anyone else = I go onto Pivotal Weather but I was not aware that I could get a snow map that you just posted. The maps I look at on there show a much broader / way larger portion of the North East . Can you tell me where / how I can find the map that you just posted which narrows areas down and shows Eastern to Shirley and Marlboro to Danbury ? Thanks in advance guys

    getting close but A LOT left to iron out that said many people have kids heading back to school = ME ----> can you guys give me a guesstimate as to the start time for this as 88 and I were discussing earlier in this thread it was looking like mid afternoon, has that changed ? What time ????????? Thanks in advance

    YEP I get it but Too late in fact 88 we just booked the flight last night as it was real slim pickens and getting $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I tried to get him out of here and back at School by Saturday but he has a big get together with friends Saturday nite they are all back from school. So we watch and we wait ,as I am sure many other people have concerns and travel issues on this weekend = back to the models

    I now it is very early in the game and there is a lot left to happen but I am asking again --> guesstimate as to the timing on Sunday ( noon ? ) = Bueller ? Bueller ? Anyone ?

    Yep local forecast is saying 80% chance of "lite snow" but we know better it could get real ugly / beautiful out there depending on what side of the fence you are on. In other news although the details still need to be ironed out it seems the timing was at one time Sunday night but it appears to me it is much earlier ( I think closer to noon but could be wrong ) now anyone have a guesstimate as to the timing ?

    Okay weather geeks let me pose this question to you about the energy in question , I have heard BR say this for years and once he brought it to my attention I have found it to be fairly accurate but the NM Rule states that where the energy enters on the West Coast that is usually the same longitude and latitude that it exits on the East coast = So is that what will / could most likely take place ? I think it probably will but I am a novice and I realize there are a lot of dynamics in play here, thoughts ?

    i Dont know him but Im glad Josh is ok,,,,,,so IF Dorian slows down again while over the warm waters wont it intensify and be stronger then modeled when it resumes going North ? sounds right to me

    The Bermuda High is weakening and a new piece of energy is supposed to eventually begin pulling Dorian North but I sure would feel a lot better if Dorian was in fact moving North now instead of still moving West even if its only at 1 mph ----- is there anything that could prevent the Northern pull from happening ? Is there any piece of energy that could continue sending Dorian West ? I mean could the weakening high not break down totally or as expected ?

    I posted this in the storm thread but it belongs here as well "Can anyone answer this = assuming that Dorian continues traveling west at its current speed what longitude and latitude would it have to be at where it would be safe to say that this WOULD BE making landfall in Florida ?"

    Julian,,,or anyone else = if you can help me / us out with the soundings as to be honest I understand the graph but how do we / I know the locations that have to worry about freezing rain or ice ? Thanks in advance
