  1. Glad I put the snowblower on the tractor earlier today. Def thinking we exceed 6 at this rate. Radar still blowing up... hopefully stays all snow til we dry slot.
  2. Still rippin'. I been taking measurements at :20 past the hour. Definitely thinking it will be above 1"/hr at next interval.
  3. Once it's in animated loop I just hold down on my phone screen and download the image.
  4. Mix line definitely starting to pick up steam in Southern PA by looks. Hopefully the damage is already done before it gets here.
  5. 2.1" here... just under 1"/hr this past hour. Still ripping good. Disclaimer: I'm measuring in an open spot of my driveway that was bare pavement to start.
  6. We're def SN+ right now. Very powdery too. Every passing vehicle on the street is whipping up a curtain of white behind it. You folks up north in syracuse area should be getting excited. This event is definitely overperforming vs. some of the modeling so far.
  7. All snow here and nice flake structure still. Band isn't quite as organized here it appears as it is to the west toward Elmira/Corning. Little more diffuse here. Could be the shadowing off the Catskills and Poconos that some of the models were showing perhaps or maybe just not as good of lift.
  8. Up to 1.25" here, that's about 1 inch in the past hour. This thump has legs so far. Bout to get smoked here shortly.
  9. Nearing SN+ rate now I'd say. Great flake structure for rapid accumulation. Radar really blossoming now.
  10. That 1am-4am timeframe might be your best 3 hour block if NBM is on target.
  11. Radar prospects starting to improve for CNY. Probable SN+ enroute into central southern tier and finger lakes soon.
  12. More like the cowboys f'd themselves over. Horrible play call.
  13. Light to mod snow here... temp down to 22.7°. Decent flake structure. About .25 inch.
  14. Steady light snow now. The street and paved surfaces already coating over. No initial melting with the recent cold snap.
  15. I put the snowblower on the tractor in case we get blitzed with 5 or 6 tonight like some of the models are showing. Otherwise it's getting taken back off and the plow back on in the morning. Good luck to all!
  16. Tracks from here to Tombo. Shaping up to be a WAA thump or bust for most of us.
  17. National Blend of Models. It's a melting pot of all the various model solutions. https://luckgrib.com/models/nbm_conus/
  18. NBM I wanted to post a GIF of the composite reflectivity but it's too large to post more than a few frames. That band has been well advertised on the models... definitely looks like 2-4"/hour rates might be possible.
  19. Good luck up there. Models have been pretty consistent with plastering the ridges west of the Hudson. Hope it works out!
