  1. Breaking record highs in the 90’s almost exactly a month prior to breaking lows now. .
  2. Was it last year we missed a good chance in early December when NE Atlanta got hammered? .
  3. MRX must read the board. They said in the disco to “pump the brakes” on next weeks system [emoji23] .
  4. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a system that defies logic and climatology .
  5. I was just a couple of miles north of that scene and I’d say the winds were 45ish mph but just west of that area of N Knoxville, velocity was interesting .
  6. Knoxville got hit pretty good. We had 16 major roads closed because of down trees and power lines. 10 schools still without power. 40k without power at one time. Took this pic close to my house on Broadway, this is the same tree. .
  7. Buddy of mine just NE of Jackson got hit hard. Thinks power will be out for a week. Pretty incredible how bad that was and no mods saw it coming. .
  8. A little bit of instability creeping towards west/middle Tennessee and the down sloping is already doing its thing in SE Tennessee .
  9. Looking much better for Tennessee vs USC tomorrow afternoon. Tomorrow in general looks nice all day. .
  10. Actually (LOL) now it looks dry as the down sloping is set up nice to shadow the valley most of Saturday .
  11. Strong system first of next week. MRX already thinking 1-2” across the board. .
  12. My lawn that isn’t in the shade is toast. It’s past being dormant now. You can drag your feet across it and it flakes up. .
  13. Sevier Co this afternoon went with a County wide no burning except for grills. .
  14. Looks active this afternoon CWA wide. 3-4K surface cap per NAM. Lotta lightning with that .
  15. I watered my front lawn yesterday afternoon just in case we have a dry stretch the next week or so. Ground water is still good but I could tell the surface was drying out. .
  16. Picked up 1.25” again today. Seems like I don’t go more than 3-4 days without rain this year. The end of April was my driest point of the year when I went about 3 weeks without rain. .
  17. I ended up with around 2.15”. Got lucky with a cell that stalled when it interacted with a outflow boundary and sorta pulsed backwards before moving SE. .
  18. Had around another inch today in N Knox Co. My fescue lawn looks really good for this time off year. I’ve even had some fungus issues with a few shrubs. I know hot and humid stinks but for lawn guys like myself, hot and dry is worse. .
