  10. This was taken overlooking the Champlain Valley in northern VT as an upper level disturbance passed overhead. Broken clouds developed in the less stable atmosphere away from the lake. With clear skies over the lake the sun was able to cast some great light onto them as it set.

  11. The 18 wheeler video amazes me sound wise. It goes from quiet to freight train almost instantaneously.
  12. JoMo thank you for your explanations of what we are looking at in these images and your accounts.
  13. I was looking for an after shot of this to compare but couldn't find one. The death toll is just horrible and will probably creep up more as well unfortunately.
  14. I too remember smelling fresh pine when I came across tornado damage in farmville nc on 4/16. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  15. You can believe I would be chugging some of those beers during that if I were there!
  16. Yeah the trees were not defoliated and that is true about the camera. Looks like it was right on the edge of it or in a spot where the tor was not at full strength yet. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  17. In response to the JB post I call him that because he purposely hypes everything making the field look bad in the end. He does this shamelessly to drive subscriptions at Accuweather. No I don't subscribe there nor will I. Sorry just my opinion.

  18. I also wanted to add that I think the NWS hiring system is flawed in the sense that I couldn't even get a shot at an interview with the office I did a student internship and research work for. I was not referred when a good amount of my references work there (including the MIC and SOO). In fact the SOO sent me a personal e-mail telling me the opening was coming and again I couldn't even get referred to the hiring official. I would have to say that was beyond frustrating.
