Yeah it is not even a real pattern change right now, just a temporary relaxation in the SE ridge. Climo time will be wiped clean soon enough.

I know I have been taking some heat for saying RDU may zero out this year, but there have been plenty of winters where they have only come in with a Trace.

A trace doesn't count as measurable. Either way this will be a snowless year in terms of anything more than a trace.

So far my RDU zeroing out prediction is on track.

It has that kind of feel out there for sure. Sun is out in Raleigh and it is already over 70F out. Low clouds are racing by so there is definitely no shortage of low level wind shear.
