  1. Regardless of how much snow we get this weekend, the Euro/EPS, GFE/GEFS, and GEPF all keep us at or below normal through at least Inauguration Day...possibly the end of the month.
  2. Seems like if the PDO is above -0.5 we're okay.
  3. Montgomery County Public Schools CLOSED tomorrow, 1/7/25.
  4. Yea that's perfect. I don't have to go into work and can just sit back with the wife and watch it snow.
  5. Yea I think we have until Valentine's Day week, then we flip into spring.
  6. End of the 00z Euro and 06z GFS appear to flood the country with Barney. Wow.
  7. @das looks like 6" - 7.5" between Germantown -> Hyattstown. The back end snow appears to have "saved" upper Montgomery County.
  8. 2nd biggest snowfall since moving back to Maryland in August 2016. I believe the bigger totals just to my south in Columbia and Pikesville. Driving into work today at 4am the snow intensity was much greater once I got off 795 and on 29.
  9. Yea if the initial push was better, then DCA would've had a legit shot at 10", IMO.
  10. Yea, let's reel this one in for everyone. Classic RIC -> BOS event.
  11. They got Community Noted and deleted the post
  12. Fed government CLOSED Tuesday, 1/7/25.
  13. Yea this back end will save us northerners.
  14. Keep those pictures coming, especially if they have Christmas lights in them
  15. Montgomery/Howard county death band forming?
  16. @Deck Pic that picture is amazing. Love deep winter.
  17. This band is sick. Cold powder just pouring out of the sky.
  18. I want to break 7" of snow at my house. That would make this event the largest snowfall since moving back to Maryland in August 2016.
  19. Cold antecedent airmass = pics like this
  20. I see a second batch prepping itself back towards Hagerstown. That one of probably the end. This back end stuff falling at night will likely save a lot of snow forecasts. Folks will probably verify on the low end of the 8" - 12" predictions. That lull killed us mid storm.
