  1. Overcast and 76 here. MU says other than a few sprinkles, no rain until overnight.
  2. SPC is really unenthused about severe, with only a categorial or marginal chance over the next few days. (they do have a SLGT for NW PA today)
  3. After 2 batters the Phillies had committed 2 errors. Happy they got straightened out.
  4. Pleasant night in Philadelphia but certainly not cool - my wife, son and daughter in law all took sweatshirts and none of them needed them. Car had 71 when we left. 59 here at home now.
  5. MU might be similar, I just didn't have the time to dig further. LOL
  6. In Lancaster (MU) today will be the 14th day this month with a high temp below normal. This is when the majority of people are outside and "enjoying" whatever weather is occurring. We will only end up AN for the summer because of overnight lows being significantly higher than the long-time norms.
  7. There are several that have been notoriously bad...Jim Joyce, Bob Davidson, Phil Cuzzi come to mind quickly. Some are worse than others in different areas, but I think Angel is the worst I've seen behind the dish.
  8. The video that I posted on the previous page talks about how he's protected by the union. I've been a passionate baseball fan since 1972 and I've never seen a worse plate ump than Angel.
  9. Okay...this is crazy. I've watched this exact scene on another outlet (Jomboy Media) dozens of times over the past few years...including last night!
  10. Yes indeed. I'll be back down 3 weeks from tonight against the Braves. Hope the Phillies catch fire and make another run this fall. I'm waiting for my 40th anniversary Phils-O's World Series.
  11. It is really, really nice outside...hard to believe it's August 22nd. Sunny skies and 72 approaching 11am and with the breeze it probably feels cool to some, especially in the shade. @paweather - I'm heading to south Philly tonight to see the Phils-Giants game.
  12. Outside of Friday, it seems the best chance to reach the 90s might be in September and after met summer has ended.
  13. I agree as long as the meat in your sandwich happens.
  14. 86 here just before noon - likely will become day #15 at or above 90 for the year.
  15. In my immediate area things have turned brown very quickly. Lots of watering. Can't imagine what it's like for you.
  16. My dewpoint is 60 - started to feel a little more uncomfortable during the past few hours. Still a splendid summer day.
  17. We made a run at 90 - high so far here is 89.2...
  18. Sunny skies and 80 degrees. #thisishowwedosummer
  19. Our oldest son is home from Houston for a week. He can't believe how cold 80 feels.
  20. The dog days of summer are delightful this year. Absolutely perfect August day.
  21. I wish I had good records from when I was a kid - there was a morning in late August, probably in the late 70s or early 80s when Landisville in Lancaster County got down to 38. I seem to remember getting down to 42 that morning. It really sticks in my memory though that here in Lanco we had a morning in August that reached the 30s. I wish I had definitive data.
