    Currently it's sun through high cloudiness and 85.7. MU says tomorrow we see a 10-15 degree drop in dewpoints. Bring it.

    Lowest temp overnight was 79.3. Really hope that everyone up north stays safe today. Ominous to see some posters in here who are known to post only when prolific severe weather is about to unfold, and that's usually down south or out in the midwest.

    Met from MU had a lot to say about this earlier today. To echo what @candersonsaid, he expects a big threat north of I80, much smaller risk between 80 and 76, virtually no threat down this way.

    I'll say it. I've always thought our state's license plate was a little...generic. Non-descript. Maybe even...boring. I like the new plate.

    96 was the high today in Maytown. Clouds likely shaved 1-3 degrees off what it might have gotten to. Still - 9th day of 95 or higher.

    Another cell just formed - my wife says she can see it raining across the fields from our house. She said "we're missing it by a half mile." It's moving away from us. All I can do is LOL.

    I have the EXACT same temp right now with a dewpoint of 77.4.

    @MUweather The #heatwave will peak today and tomorrow. Highs both afternoons will be in the mid-to-upper 90s across northern MD and the Lower Susquehanna Valley, but the high humidity (71-78°F dewpoints) is to blame for the truly dangerous heat indices.

    88 in Maytown currently. My sense is a 95-97 afternoon high here. We'll soon find out.

    Thought yesterday there was a better chance of that happening than I do now. I think we need the dewpoint to drop this afternoon, 100/78 or the like will be very tough to pull off. 100/68 can be done. My temp rise isn't on the trajectory that's going to get me (at least) up to 100. Tomorrow's issue might be afternoon clouds. MU said yesterday that for triple digit temps we need to "root" for dews to lower during the afternoon.

    Holy Bazooka bubble gums, it is downright nasty outside. Just walked across campus...good lord is it stifling. 75 was my overnight "low" - currently it's 86 in Maytown at 9:05am.

    I'm questioning his call. I want rain so badly, it's making me jaded. I feel like a snow weenie that lives in Charlotte. Or...Maytown. LOL

    Who to believe/trust? MU says the front will stall further SE than models put it and the associated rains with that wave fall well SE of here. He says models notoriously stall these types of fronts too far west.
