    We'll see what happens - currently sitting at 80.2 at 9:20am. My sense is that it does NOT reach 90. I'm going with 85-88 today. Something to watch on any otherwise benign weather day!

    HR Mike bagged .13" tonight. First time over a tenth of an inch in weeks. The line blew up again just east of here. Got something though.

    Funny thing- Lee came on my birthday. We went out to dinner that evening. We did not make it home. We spent the night with family because every possible route home that night was closed due to flooding.

    @Mount Joy Snowman there is some intensification just west of York city. Right now, I'm positioned perfectly to miss north and south. Hopefully it fills in.

    Wow. I've never placed a bet in my life but that's tempting. I'll take the over on that. Maybe not 90 but low 80s? I'm skeptical.

    MU calling for 92 here tomorrow. Downsloping winds and lower dews...I would be surprised if I don't hit or exceed 90. Shouldn't have too far to go to get there either.

    For those of us down south - radar is kind of meh so far. The cells down in MD/VA/WV are weakening as the entire area moves east. Not a lot showing up that would be targeting our area. Still time for change.

    Have to think that in my lifetime (1965 onward) that the record had to be set on 5/30/1985. I've found a lot of information but not the number of warnings that came from our local office. Many of the warnings that day were issued by Pittsburgh and Cleveland as well. I will never forget that event.

    There are now 5 active TOR warnings that have been issued by Cleveland, State College and Binghamton.

    It's getting rusty, though not as rusty as my snow shovel, which I haven't used for 3 consecutive winters. As long as it's been since I used it, might very well be dead. Right beside my wif...whiffle ball bat. I've mowed a lot every year for years. Since I was handed over the responsibility from my dad when I was 4. Big difference this year...it ain't raining. This seems unprecedented to me. It's not uncommon for it to really die out later in July and especially into August, but my yard has been toast for weeks now. Hot and water = mowing, hot and dry = itsnotmowingtimeanymore.

    90 in Maytown. 17th day this year at or above that mark. Already passed last year's total.
