  1. We have had take out meals from local restaurants in Mount Joy/Marietta/Bainbridge every single Friday since the 2nd week of March. We'll continue that tonight and next week before leaving on vacation. Once we get home I'll reassess and see where things stand. I've been spending a lot more money on food than what I budgeted for but hey...a lot of people are a whole lot worse off than me right now and I want to do what I can to support their business.
  2. At least right now this looks correct. Almost all of the action is firing south of Rt. 30 and slowly drifting east/northeast.
  3. Sprinkles here now, quite a few light showers scattered around the LSV...I wonder if this will suppress heavier stuff later?
  4. It played for me. That was fascinating to see, thanks for sharing!
  5. Yes sir, and my rain gauge is getting a workout tonight. I'll easily be over 2" combined with yesterday's rain and likely higher than that.
  6. In this situation I would be feeling pretty fortunate if I was you.
  7. Horst posted a radar shot on his Twitter that he said looked like a classic tornado signature. He sounded concerned for Lebanon area.
  8. Storms are firing over the central and south central mountains now. Watch is up for a lot of us until 10PM.
  9. Finished with .78" here yesterday. Got clipped last evening from the storm that went through Carlisle and then down through York county.
  10. Hard to believe it's only been 3 weeks since we were talking snow.
  11. Got a lot closer than I thought it would at noon. Right now I'm at 88.6...(I was at 88.2 this morning before the storm) Also...how often are 2 separate severe thunderstorm watches issued for the same counties on the same day? This to me seems very rare.
  12. If you are looking for HOT weather you might be disappointed. However, the GFS has not done well with temps at all lately. If we have sunny days in late June and early July we're bound to at least reach the low 80s. Right?
  13. Got just over .5" of rain here. Little wind or anything else.
  14. I said that earlier...thank you for confirming! Wonderful news!
  15. Not sure. Regardless, when I looked at radar an hour ago the line was coming through Clearfield. It's quickly approaching the capital area now.

  17. They're moving along pretty good. They also appear to be weakening a bit over the past hour or so.
  18. That's an impressive line that is moving pretty quickly SE.
  19. Storms will have a soupy air mass...I'm already at 84.6 and it isn't 9:30am!
  20. @canderson our local severe authority: What do you think of severe potential for tomorrow and Friday?
  21. Really hard to imagine how either a fan of hot weather or cold weather could complain about a day like today. Pretty much perfection...
  22. Know that vantage point very well. What a gorgeous day it is to be there...or anywhere outside!
  23. Nice little bow structure north of Harrisburg.
  24. They look more impressive than the first round.
