  1. Can't argue your points. Wish you could be more respectful of mine. Trae has stepped up late in how many games? Embiid has not. That's how I see it.
  2. I had Flyers season tickets in the 90s. Gave them up because it was a hassle on Saturdays to get from Philly to Hersheypark arena for the Bear's game that night. Yes, I had both simultaneously. Now, I just have the 76ers. Why, I do not know...
  3. If the Euro is still truly the king of models, exhibit A of why I refuse to model hug. (in the winter) Perfect recipe for a whole lot of disappointment. They are a tool, nothing more or less. End rant.
  4. My son (26) and I own season memberships. I have told him since day #1 this team will sink at the stripe. It's sickening how bad as a team the Sixers are...but yeah...Simmons is embarrassing.
  5. In fairness - while both were absent when needed most, look at the last 7-8 minutes of the game. While Young was doing his thing for ATL, WTF was Embiid? After an amazing first 3 quarters, he disappeared when we needed him most. I'm also growing tired of his constant flopping. Own the paint and dominate and stop begging for free throws.
  6. Saw a Knicks game at MSG back in 2014. Had been on my bucket list for years to see a game at the Garden. Great experience...can only imagine what it was like during the glory years.
  7. What a godawful night in South Philadelphia last night. I had literally renewed my membership hours before the game. I'm sick.
  8. I did see a fascinating cricket down on the trail the other day.
  9. 76ers franchise history - last night was their 166th game leading by at least 20 going to the 4th quarter. Prior to last night, they were 165-0.
  10. LOL - I was reading down through the posts, saw Canderson's and responded before even seeing yours. Not a happy night for me last night.
  11. 76ers took a mid-game break and forgot to come back.
  12. Agreed - and I realize it most when there's snow on the ground. Snow melts so quickly, even with temps FAR below freezing if the sun is shining. Even in January.
  13. Next week we hit the solstice and start the journey of shorter hours of daylight until late December. (even if it's cool next week...sun angle these days is brutal)
  14. 50.6 (51) here for my low. Feeling left out of the 40s club.
  15. There's a lot of video out there of the PA flooding during Agnes...and in a lot of the video, people are wearing jackets. (I was 7 at the time and don't remember that level of specifics without seeing the video years later)
  16. You're in the chill zone, already at 70 here now.
  17. 64 and spectacular at 8:30am. Hard to say anything negative at all about the weather in front of us, but as @Bubbler86 alluded to, one concern is the potential to dry out once again very quickly.
  18. @canderson have a great, safe trip! Enjoy the reprieve from the cooler weather that we'll be enjoying.
  19. I need to check Peter Sinks out. Sounds like my kind of place.
  20. Just got home and the radar doesn't look inspiring - and I'm not being a downer...there is a path to no rain whatsoever by the looks of things. (still think it will rain - but I'm starting to wonder)
  21. Sky has gotten even darker here since noon. It looks like an early afternoon in January when snow's about to break out, lol
  22. Being on vacation I was only half paying attention - it just seemed like all the talk last week was about heavy rains and potential flooding. I got home and was surprised. Drove through parts of NE North Carolina who have had over 14" of rain in the past 2 weeks. There's water everywhere, and I mean that. There's no where for it to go.
