  1. And once again, our reputation is tarnished as a fan just dumped something on Westbrook. So freaking sickening. I hope that person is banned permanently. Aside from that- go Sixers!
  2. My daughter works at Carmax and said it got "crazy windy" - 19 year old words.
  3. Shouldn't be too hard - storm #2 dropped an additional .01" here to bring my 2 storm total up to .05" for the day. Pretty incredible.
  4. So far you're ahead of me by .01" in our little derby.
  5. Ended up with .04". Hoping for something else later...
  6. I take back my comment as well - new cell just formed west of the river headed right for me...
  7. As Richie Ashburn would have said, it looks "rainish" over towards Mount Joy from my vantage point. Going to be close...
  8. I reached 93 before the clouds moved in with the storm missing north. Down to 90 now.
  9. Very easy to spot the Historic District on this snapshot.
  10. That line has a hole that is coming right at me. Seriously. One gap in the line and it's headed right at NW Lanco.
  11. New season high of 92 here now. Ready for the rumbles.
  12. I hope it's right. I'll be on the Outer Banks that week and I want it HOT.
  13. It was a good read, easy to understand with helpful graphics. Appreciate you posting the link!
  14. Can't the first line become severe? Seems like any first line will be here during a favorable part of the day.
  15. I'm on the cusp (89) of 90 here, and man is it ever soupy...
  16. Not a severe expert by any means - isn't that somewhat the opposite of what normally happens? I'm used to discreet cells forming in ADVANCE of a line, not the other way around). Unless I'm mistaken.
  17. Yes it is. Storms seem to have pretty good forward motion coming out of western PA.
  18. Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the entire CTP area until 8:00PM.
  19. I was in Potter county on Memorial Day about 7-8 years ago and it was 30 degrees at the cabin that morning. Who knows?
  20. Any rain we do get today also might be very heavy and run off more than it soaks in.
  21. As Canderson said, I'm sure it happens in every city. I've never personally witnessed it in Pittsburgh. Though - when my son was 13 or 14, we were sitting directly across the aisle from a guy who was probably toasted by 7am that day. EVERY time the Steelers got a first down, this dude staggers across the aisle and gives my son about 3 high fives. My son thought that was pretty funny. We still talk about that guy.
  22. @FHS - SPC certainly expanded the SLGT area for today. We'll see what comes of it.
